Got a sigelei for christmas, I have a 28g 4 strand 9 wrap @ .3 ohms in a plume veil on my stingray x and I love it. It produces big clouds and great flavor. I tried it on the sigelei and it seems off , think I need to build something different. This is my first (powerful) box mod, anyone know what the best route to go with this?

I assume you check your connection already. Check the readings on your Sigelei and saw it said .3 etc.
What watts are you using for box mod?..maybe try bumping up the watts etc

I was @45w bumped to 60 and tasted burnt, redripped, not getting the clouds I would get from the mech. I know it's more wattage/heat so shorter pulls, just trying to figure it out. I think I'm just tired lol long Christmas day

Have you adjusted the air flow, maybe it needs more air etc...

It was the cotton, I burnt it up messing with the higher wattage lol. I still want to try some different builds. I want to try some 24g builds
I'm running dual coil 7 wraps of 24g around a 2.4mm rod giving me .42 ohms in my Segelei 100w plus. I run it between 50-60 watts & it's incredible.
I did find that sweet Ejuice does not go well at higher watts but tobacco flavors are terrific.

I have to order 24g kanthal, might try a twisted dual 28g for the time being. I think 28g @ .3 0hms cooks the juice too fast, resulting in a burnt taste
It all depends on how many watts your pushing through the atty as well as the sugars in the juice. There is no burnt taste even at 1.5 ohms if you push
the correct watts, Ejuice, & don't forget the air flow is critical.
I have everything open on my plume veil and took off the delrin piece and drip tip so tons of air flow, I'm using max vg juice and staying around 30/45 watts
I'm using a couple of Plume Veils myself (1 orig,1 new) at .4 ohms, 50 watts. I have not removed the delrin ( just screwed it down) or the drip tip. If you want clouds go with the high VG. If you want flavor I never go below a 50/50 juice.
try adjusting the wattage until you get 4.2 volts...should be same as mech mod on fully charged batteries....I find regulated mods ramps up a bit slower then a mech mod so you will need to take a longer pull....YMMV
