Sigelei 100w with new Arctic tank - Bat question need help

Been vaping for 7years but never vaped sub ohm due to safety. Currently running a Sigelei 100w box with a Atlantis tank. Very happy with this set up. Im looking at the new Arctic tank with .2 ohm DC. Doing my math looks like I may not trust my current batteries Mxjo IMR 18650 3.7v 2500mah. Im unsure if these will handle the .2ohm Arctic tank. The need will be over 20A correct? What would you guys suggest? Im sure the box can run this low but I may be wrong. Just dont want to blow myself up hence the reason i never got a mechanical. Any help would be appreciated! Long time reader of the forums but first time posting.

PS: guy at my local vape shop sold me the batt's. He had no others in stock. Told me it would be fine with the Atlantis tank and it has.

The only Mxjo IMR 18650 3.7v 2500mah info I see say they are 35 amp pulse rated, and most batteries I've seen like that are rated around 20 continuous.

The Arctic lets you choose from .2 and .5 ohm dual coils, .2 being rated for 80watts highest use which would draw 20 amps.

I am also no expert by any means, and I have no idea about the reliability of those batteries, so maybe someone a little more advanced can chime in as well to reaffirm.

Majority of reviews I see on the Mxjo are saying they are nowhere near 2500mah, so you will have a greatly reduced charge life at the least. And if they exaggerate that so badly who knows about their quality and other specs. I'd say read up on your battery safety, which you seem to have already done some, and maybe go with vtc4s. But then you have alot of reading on the vast assortment of fakes out there, but it seems to be pretty solid opinion from what I've read RTD vapor is a reliable source for them, which I will be getting mine from when I need some more. Not a bad price either. Probably cheaper than what you paid at the B&M for the cheapos. :p

Good luck!

Edit: You are correct, I was mistaken about Sigelei running parallel.

get the new 38amp efests from MVS. they are local to you in NY. Just got them in and they're excellent. Perfect for your arctic and any others like it in the future. Thats the setup i'm using right now.

MVS is great and I have placed many orders with them. The efest your talking about have a pulse rate of 38a. The arctic tank ! .2ohms will require 20a continuous rating. Seems like most batts will fall short or just make the cut and I dont like vaping like that.

Running parallel so this may not be an issue but still looking to get better bats. The BNM charged me $10 for 2 of them so no biggie.
Thanks for the help.

Here are several 30A CDR batteries you can look for:

1. Orbtronic SX30 2100mah 30A
2. Sony VTC4 2100mah 30A (there are no authentic VTC5's out there)
3. Xtar 2100mah 30A (re-wrapped Sony VTC4)

I use the Sony. RTD Vapor usually has them in stock.

BATTERIES - WHERE TO BUY

Only buy batteries from a reputable supplier (not ebay or Amazon) as there are many counterfeit batteries being sold. Here are several reputable battery suppliers in the US.

* RTD Vapor
* Illumination Supply
* Lighthound
* Orbtronics

No problem. Where did you get that pulse rating from though? According to the specs these new batteries are 60a pulse, 38a max continuous, and 30a continuous. Well above that 20 threshold. Couldn't care less what brand you get, just want to make sure I'm not missing something here.
