Hey everyone,

I noticed some odd behavior on my box mod, it would drain the batteries quickly. I then noticed, when I hooked up both batteries to charge, one of them lit up red and the other green, which means the mod is only draining and using one battery. The mod is still detecting the second battery because if it didn't, the mod wouldn't even turn on.

The last time this happened, I tried to swap the batteries around so it uses the fully powered battery, but it was still dead (20%). I was trying to determine if it's an issue with the lead, but it doesn't seem to be the case.

Any ideas on whether this is fixable?

Thanks!

On my Sig150 I do notice more of a battery drain on battery 2, battery furthest from the control board in the circuit path. It's all dependent and why I suggest with multi-battery mods, to rotate battery positions of the pair each time you change them out to keep that heavy drain rotating on which battery it hits. Another issue might be you have run that low battery so long in the slot you place it in all the time you've worn it out and unbalanced it from the other battery, if that's the case then you need a new married equal set, break the old pair up, recycling the weak one or both if they are old enough (12 months or so).

Is it the same battery dying each time, or is it a slot in the mod that's draining its battery regardless of which one is put in it?

Either way, those two batteries are no longer married and you need a new set, assuming that the mod is working properly.

Ok, so this is my fault. I have no idea how this happened but I mixed the batteries up (1 of my old batteries was paired with one of my new batteries). They're all green so I had to put them under a light to determine which ones were the new ones and I've got them paired how they originally were and we're good. Thankfully I posted this thread before going out and buying a new mod! Thanks everyone.
