My understanding is in V3 they finally got rid of the Flex spring in the contact section of the switch.
V2 was a button/lock upgrade - stop the spinning button from accidentally locking while in use or unlocking in pocket.

There have actually been several minor changes, but it gets complicated keeping up. One even involved a taller head with removable cap and Ego threading..........TALL & UGLY

To this day, the 20 still has problems. I wouldn't buy one.

You can get a used Roller RO60 very reasonable. Atmizone has great customer serivice, and if you do have a problem, there is actually someone to ask or get parts from. Try that with a #20.

I have 4 Rollers. Each one works well. The only thing a Russian91% looks good on is an Ice Matte Atmizoo Roller.

The third version is almost a completely different design than the first two versions. In fact, about the only thing that has remained constant between the versions is the body. Personally, I dig the look of the third version. It really isn't a "roller" clone per say anymore, but the functionality has improved significantly. The button now has a threaded lock on it (thank goodness because the twist button lock is a serious pain.) and it has a flat head which i personally like. The number 20 was my gateway into the world of mechs. I was used to a top button design from my egos, then my vamo so a bottom or pinky side button felt too foreign to me. i have gone through two versions of this device, and have found the version 3 to be my favorite. In fact, I still find myself using the 20 version 3 with a carto tank, kick, and an IMR 18490 when i am at parties, or in a situation where if it gets left behind it's not a huge deal.

I wouldn't recommend taking it apart, as it will not go back together (don't ask how i know :) ). Is the button sticking? If it is, I would recommend pulling the the center post and find a friend with an ultrasonic cleaner. Running it through a few cycles (Hornaday makes an excellent one, but it's way to expensive clean a few mods with) will usually remove any junk clogging smooth operation, if the problem is more serious (bad machining) try working some graphite powder down between the locking ring and button. Work that stuff in, then clean it again. the graphite is usually super fine, and seems to smooth out sharp edges. If all else fails i would recommend buying a new one, then experiment on the old one. And if you can find a way to remove it without damaging it, please let me know. If it's misfiring the issue is more likely having to do with the center pin not making good contact with your atty, but thankfully the 20v3 has an adjustable center pin to clear that up.
