Ijoy Captain PD 270 Question

I just bought the IJOY Captain PD 270 mod. The software version is 1.5 and I see there is an upgrade available to version 1.6. Does anyone know what the difference is between the 2 versions? I only vape in watts mode and am wondering if it is necessary to upgrade. So far I really like it and has not given me any problems. Thanks to all.

No I have not. I did not even think of that. Going to ijoy now to see what they have posted on their site.

I tried updating my captain to the new firmware, but with every computer I tried connecting it to, it would not recognize the mod. I followed the instructions to hook it up exactly, but it never worked for me. When I tried contacting Ijoy (multiple times, for over a month) they never responded and just ignored my emails and tickets I put in, so I was never able to update my mod. Contacting ijoy is a real hit and miss kind of thing. I wouldn't hold my breath if you are waiting to hear back from them.

I ended up shelving the mod and stopped buying ijoy products, since their customer service was such a joke. Hopefully they don't do the same with you.

Went to ijoy's site and sent a chat request. So now it is a wait and see if they respond.
