I can't comment on the KBox as I don't own one, but I do have the Sigelei. I like everything about the Sig, except the sharp(ish) corners on the bottom. I find that with extended use, the corners irritate the palm of my hand; not a big deal, but it's there. The Sig will cost you a bit more than the KBox, but the features and adjustability of the Sig are well worth it. My Sigelei has been working flawlessly now for more than two months. If I had to make the purchase again, I would still buy the Sig over the KBox.

Phil Busardo reviewed both devices. Do a quick You Tube search and see what he ha to say about them.

If you have both, why not use them? I think the kbox was designed to go with the Subtank. You could get a Subtank or something else for it. Its a good idea to have two setups anyway in case one goes down.

Down the road, if you're like many of us, you'll have more things than you need, and then you can pass the kbox to a new vaper.

I think both are fine. It really boils down to what feels most comfortable in your hand and what meets your own vaping style.
The Sigeili mini30w isn't as powerful in watts as the K-Box40, but it is DC mode switchable so it can act as a mechanical mod. (and I've read it has the same chip as the Luxyoun 30w, i.e., SX300). So the mini is probably better for an experienced vaper, a bit more adventurous, who's got some battery safety experience and who wants to try experimenting with different ranges of ohms vs watts - someone like yourself

I enjoy my K-Box so much. Not a fan of the flat, edgy box mods and really love the tubes. This is the best of both worlds and fits nicely in my hands. Had the Aerotank mini on top to start and it was ok (airflow needs improvement) but when I finally moved to the sub-tank there was no turning back. The fact that I can rebuild my factory OCC coils, and I don't have to buy any more replacements, is amazing. Sorry got off topic, The only downside of the K-Box, as it was my first real mod, is the pre-select wattage settings. I wanted to try other W settings below 8 and between 8 and 13. No issue now as I vary btw 20, 25 & 30 W depending on my coil build.

Quick Question, what is the lowest Ohm build the Sigelei 30w mini will support? Does is support the Kanger sub-tank well?

Additionally, I guess I am a minimalist in a sense because I enjoy the fact that I don't have a screen to deal with. Just two LED indicators for Wattage setting and Battery life. I wonder if it is possible, with the right tools of course, to mod the K-Box with a new chip and add a screen somewhere? I think I saw a response a while back about someone attempting this.:vapor:

The Sig Mini will fire down to .3 Ohms.

That is what the K-Box is supposed to support but I have found that it sometimes does not like to fire my .3X builds. I haven't built on the supplied Sub-Tank RBA just yet, as I can't get away from rebuilding the factory coils. Maybe it will support this better>>>
