Testing cells at their limits is dangerous and should never, ever, be attempted by anyone who has not thoroughly studied the dangers involved and how to minimize them. My safety precautions are the ones I have elected to take and you should not assume they will protect you if you attempt to do any testing. Do the research and create your own testing methods and safety precautions.
Bottom Line
In my opinion, the performance of this version of sigelei's 35A 2500mAh cell, using a GPower cell, is too inconsistent to test. The other version uses the VTC4, rated at 30A/2100mAh. This time at least they use a 2500mAh cell. But, the performance between the two cells I have was so different that I have no idea which might represent the true average performance of sigelei's.
Testing was stopped as soon as I confirmed that the two cells I received were so different. Both appeared identical. I cannot recommend buying the Sigelei battery.
