All of the sudden I wake up today and notice my 510 threading on my sigelei 50w box mod is jacked up. I cleaned the threads on my subtank mini and on my sigelei mod. I then tried screwing it onto my mod and now no matter what I try , there's a gap between the top of the mod and the bottom of the subtank (it's not screwing down all the way and has about a 3mm gap, hence now it won't fire...

I screwed my subtank onto my ileaf 30w and screws in flawlessly, so it's the sigelei threads ...

but I did pay a lot for my sigelei and prefer its hits , I dunno, I usually Vape about 16W on my sigelei And not sure how that translates over to what wattage I should run the eleaf at ?

Also, I just noticed that my spare RDAs will still screw onto my sigelei well..I'm so confused what's up !!!!

Well if all your other "spare RDAs" fit snug on the base of the sigelei but the kanger subtank mini all of a sudden will not fit on the sigelei with the spring loaded pin, unsure if your mod is the V2 (it probably has a better contact pin).

Regardless, this type of thread is reverse threading, so never ever screw it down hard and quick. In other words, 510 connection pin is reverse threaded, which means always screw it further out when trying to make it deeper.

I have the Sigelei 150 watt, I never had a problem; then again, I always pair all my unregulated and regulated devices with either a RDA and a RBA just like I pair batteries with each device (it's a good thing to do because each device handles certain ohms especially as a builder).

Good thing about a reverse thread is once the atty is attached it's a very secure attachment.

Also you can clean the threading with some rubbing alcohol for if it's dirty this too can cause threading issues.

My best advice is, if an atty works fine on the Sigelei then pair it exclusively with the device (the only time the atty comes off is to clean the threading/pin or to recharge the device (dependent where the adapter fits into the device).

Hope this helps. Let us know how it goes.
