To wait or not to wait for the 100W?.

Well, highest wattage I've ever hit with a mechanical was 45 watts at .4 ohms, never had the nerve to go any lower than that. That's a monster of a vape already. How high are you looking to go, realistically, a 100 watt mod will be able to power a coil pretty similar to a .2 ohm mechanical build, but unless that's the experience you are looking for, do you really need those extra 50 watts? Only you can really answer that.

One idea is to maybe wait for the 100W ones to come out and then buy the 50W when the price drops as a consequence?

Sorry, no. It's a different shape.
I'm guessing Li-Po batteries maybe?, and internal charger.
BTW, the 35W-26650, which is what I wanted, is not listed anymore.

get the new iPV 50 coming out from greanleaf in a week or two, then wait for the 100w sigelei that will be out next month the final product looks alot better than the one up there ^^^^^ they come in black or silver and thety are alloy boxes not palstic ....e plus the screen will be on the front of the box with buttons on the side

oh yeah and the 50w is powered by 1 18650 while the 100 is powered by 2 18650s

Yep. Thank you. I went to the Sigelei site in China and they list the 50W with a 18650.
The 100W with 2, as you mentioned.
The apparent trend seems to be toward the box mod.
For now, I'll keep vaping from a Sigelei 20W with the 26650 adapter.

I suppose you could utilize a 100W system.... .1 ohms for 1/4 second inhales imagine all the burnt tongues at longer draws at that max setting

I vape at about 70w daily I im quite sure I could take atleast a 2 or 3 second toke on 100w

I am working on mod with a portable generator attached, 2000 Watts at -3.2 Ohms. It will come with wheels and a handle.

I personally am in between habit and hobby, but I just don't see the need for any thing above a 30 or 50 watt. That's just me though.

As I already had a tube VV mod I decided to try the 50 watt box mod.
My iPV2 is supposedly on the way. Yahoo. Obsessing and stalking the mailbox.

BTW... I am in communication with two WRAP companies JWRAPS and VAPORSKINZ about a custom wrap for this new mod.
They are both working on it. The more inquries direct to them the better. Thanks for shooting them a plea.
