Sigelei Kaos slow ramp and preheat question.

Hey all. I guess I got a little too spoiled with my voopoo drag and Smoant Charon cause I noticed the Kaos at 74.5 watts on a uwell Crown 0.25 ohm coil has a noticeable delay in ramp up. I have the preheat at 84.5 watts for 1 second and it doesn't make any difference. I read around the web the preheat either 1. doesn't work period or 2. it is only made for Temp control mode.


Any fixes at all? I really like to hit the fire button and have an instant stream of vaping producing.

Haven't tried it on mine, but yeah coming from a Drag to the Kaos is definitely a downgrade in terms of responsiveness with the chip.

try it at 100 for 1 sec, i don't have any issues with mine. right now i use the crown 3 with the .25 ohm coil and have my preheat set to 80 watts for 0.3 sec. running at 90 watts for the rest of the time, it's nice and smooth.

I use a big baby rba base on mine and although i did notice a slightly faster ramp up time when the preheat is on, i never use it as i prefer a slow inhale. Imo it's still a great mod (and 1000x better than my old predator lmfao)
