You didn't say what Sigelei you are using but the V8's do not work with devices under 2.0 ohms. You can some times get away with 1.8 ohm devices but that's it.

I'm guessing its the newest one, I just got it last week from varitube but it will read 1.3ohms and up so I'm not sure

Actually, which pv are you using? The Sigelei Zmax will do down to 1.3 ohms, and won't fire below that. So you will be fine with 2.0 ohm cartos. Using 1.3 ohms is pushing it though. Just don't screw attachments on really tight - people mess up their centre posts that way.

It is a zmax

You should be fine on 2.0's. Smoktech did have a pretty bad run of tank cardis where everyone who bought one, came back with flooding issues. I had four flood in one day. Now, that was about a month ago so they've since fixed the issue. But the last ten or so I've used (and about 15 other people I know) haven't had any issues, so I'm sure you're going to be pleased with those :)

Be sure to run them a little hot, maybe around 3.8-4.3 to help ensure you won't get any flooding. If you get a little gugrle, take your tank off and flick your wrist (sling it out) to get the liquid out of the bottom of your cardi, get all the excess off. That always prevents mine from getting any worse as far as flooding goes :)

Fatboy (I almost said "Slim") is giving good advice.

I, too, have been using Smoktech cartos exclusively for 4 months (they're the only ones my B&M carry) and the only time I've had bad ones was due to user error (i.e., my fault for not priming them enough. XL cartos need around 40 drops, not the 30 I was originally told.)

EDIT: But then again cartos are finicky creatures, so what worked for me may not work for you.
