Did you buy yours from there Winchel? Because the description is saying that it has 2 ventilation holes and it's made from aluminum or brass. Shouldn't it be SS and 4 vent holes?

Every segelei mech I have is SS and brass(#8, #13a, #13b(has plastic in switch also))

But its possible that vaportek may be getting aluminum to cut cost. That way they can sell it for 33.00 usd. Not sure either way.

I try not to buy mods from anyone who shows pictures for 2 different mods when they are selling one. They have pictures of the #8 and the #13a. So perhaps they dont even know what they are selling. Eg: Aluminum or ss, 3 or 2 vent holes. Its wreckless to offer a preorder with such information.

Can you move the button on the 13 to the top like the picture below?

There are two versions of the #13. The version shown is #13a and the button cannot be flipped, like the picture shows. The way to tell is the metal housing on the firing switch. The one that can be flipped has a plastic housing on the firing switch and is known as #13b. This flippable version has serious design flaws that are detailed in the current coop linked below. In short, completing the circuit relies on an improperly designed spring and post connected to the bottom cap.

All that I'm really interested in is that exact type of button, but instead of it being near the bottom, it's near the top like in the picture. I was just about to click 'buy' on Vaportek for it, but if it does have serious flaws, I won't bother.

Any idea on mods that work how I'm describing? Seriously if there was a GGTS or GG Clone that had the switch for my thumb instead of little finger, I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

Top switch mechanicals are a bit harder to design than bottom button ones. The only ones that come to mind are the Dingo and Roller from Atmizoo and Poldiac from MMVapors and the 69 from Atmomixani. There's also the Silver Bullet from Altsmoker and the Bolt from Smoktech but I'm not sure if they're purely mechanical or if they use wires.

Sigelei is now up to 38 on their telescope line.

some of them are actually thumb buttons.
that being said, most of them are new.
like the 13 when it was new, I don't know how "proven" they are.

the #20 (roller clone) is a thumb button mod, I will more than likely get some after seeing the inside. who am i kidding, I will more than likely get them no matter what.

I'm part of this co-op and I am now wondering if the #20 has the same issue since it is a top button mod...hmmmmmm I hope not.
