the button has a off function for a reason

Yes it does

But just as an FYI.... if you tear apart your head the button assembly can be pushed back into far so that the off position doesn't limit contact....also the case if the button isn't fully pressed back onto the plunger shaft.

I have not torn the button assembly apart....not sure what your saying bap.

Are you saying I can fix it if I tear it apart, or if I did tear it apart I may have broke it??

Step 2: ease off fire button and remove spring ,take note which way spring is sitting, you may need screwdriver either side of fire button to remove ,the little grey pin on the fire button is part of the lockable button feature

Step 6: turn control head over so top can be seen and take a flat headed screw and gently tap out remaining plastic housing

Step 7: rebuilding of control head is reversal of what has just been done Tip: build fire button assembly before refitting ,makes it easier to get fire button on fully and line up grey pin on fire button so that it is in the on position ,you will see the groove in plastic housing

If I were disassembling the #20 control head again I'd suggest not doing step 3 like that. You could damage the firing pin and ruin the press fit to the button. Move on to step 4 and 5. Then using a tool (a corkscrew worked well for me) push the derlin plug with the firing pin out. Corkscrew (or whatever) goes in the hole on bottom (from step 4) then apply force to the plug from the inside of the switch housing to ease it out.

I wasn't really saying anything other than what I said.....or insinuating anything??????????

It just reminded me of what I experienced......Just trying to do what these forums purpose is.....and that is to share knowledge

I thought of trying that....because mine was a SOB to get out, but I was worried it would distort the hole and the bottom pin wouldn't fit well afterwords.

So where did you pick up the Nzonic Clone Head? I wasn't aware of anywhere they were selling them separately yet ...

There's exhale soon available, but they said they won't ship to the uk :( if one of you guys could order a extra one and mail to me in the uk I would appreciate it :) will cover all costs

Attention *ahem*:

I was speaking to a Segelei employee on Skype and inquired about a custom made Sigelei #8. Told the employee I wanted the #8 to have all brass and stainless steel with no chrome plating. She understood and agreed to the order as long as I met the MOQ of 10. They're directly capable of making it happen since she told me there factory is on site. These are also the newer Sigelei versions with the logo stamped on the metal and an updated spring. No extra charges for the custom request.

I would be interested, is there a coop interest thread now?
