I am not sure what replacement parts we got, but just the button post was brass after sanding. The neg post didn't show any brass when I sanded buy it still works great.
I thought the same thing with the replacement parts, until I sanded the top edge of the neg post and revealed brass.. went after it some more and it's just a thick layer of chrome...

China GG, two-tone, Chrome/Gold, ORDERED

Well, given the complete satisfaction that I got with my sigelei #8 and the vendor, I just ordered the KTS-GGTS too with them. I believe at $32 this thing can't be pricematched anywhere, nor can be beat on Price Vs. Value.

Where: Hoosier Vapes
Price Ref: Vapor Joe's Blog

My guess is no, the #39 appears to be similar to the Empire mod, and the k100 (i have this). in these mods the bottom switch assembly screws into the outside "grip" part, so it is an integral part of the mod. I have no idea about the quality of the #39 but my Kamry K100 is awesome! just wish it had a flat top rather than slanted...
here it is sanded down to reveal brass(or copper) and aluminum in 18350 mode with an Igo-L

I love that look. I wanted to do that to mine yesterday but i was scared about messing it up ? did you use sandpaper or steel wool ?

How did you make the Igo sit so flush on there ? mine has a lil gap

There is a floating center pin in the K100. Take out the battery, then screw your atomizer in flush, then reassemble. I have no idea how to sand off the paint and plating but that look is amazing. I would like to know how that was done as well.

Thanks !!! I was reading on a picture on instagram, I found this information on a guy who did the same thing.

"I just used a piece of 220 sandpaper wrapped around it and spun body in one direction to get an even brushed looking grain. Then did again with 00 fine steal wool"

gonna go to lowes and try it in a little bit

I used sandpaper... Still need more sanding. The k100 has a floating center pin so to get the Igo-l (or anything) flush loosen the battery tube, you should then be able to screw your atty in flush, then screw in the telescoping battery tube. Works for me

Anyone located a brass, etc. upgrade for the Sig #8 (and #13?) center pin? I found screws that would work at my local hardware store but nothing that looked like it would make a better positive pin than what it came with yet...

OH! And for anyone that's keeping track I fixed my misfire problem on the #8! I *tried* loosening the button a bit but it was on there tight and decided against forcing the issue. I DID decide to shave a bit more length and the rest of the threads off the brass screw I've got inserted in the negative spring. It now touches the bottom of the negative cup (while inside the spring) *just* before the head of the screw bottoms out on the top of that same cup. Also squirted a dab more of my Ox-Gard paste (like Noalox) into the bottom of the cup. No more misfires! Hits hard and reliably every time I hit the button now... for at least the last three hours!

I just learned that the sigelei 19, 29 and 36 are copies of some filipino mods, the 19 is a copy of an Nzonic which is a somehow popular mod. It made a big outrage here online locally, but I'm kinda happy about it. China wouldn't even copy it if it wasn't worth copying.

And the NR:9 is a Clone of filipino Excalibur . But the Excalibur is a Clon of the Italian Galileo - right ?
