Maybe it is just me, maybe it is sigelei, either way, has anybody got a bad quality sigelei 150, 30 watt mini etc? I have ordered 3 different 150 watt box mods and each one has had chips on the edging, places on the door etc. Some of them have the logo way off centered as well. I am ocd about stuff keep in mind but chips and gashes are unacceptable for $100 spent. Even my 30 watt mini had the same problems out of the box

I just bought a Sigelei 30w mini and its perfect , no flaws that I can see and the other one at my shop is also fine. Every company can have bad batches. I also wouldn't call Sigelei a budget brand honestly. Sure they are not 300 + dollars or made of some rare material but they are made well.

Meh. They're 510 connections and power buttons are adequate at best. There's a reason your getting 150w devices for 90 bucks. The chips are nice though.

I have sig 100+ and 150 and I don't see any issues you mentioned. Can you show us the pics of what u have got on all your 3 sig150s? But after u got issue with the first one, why u got 2 more?

Well I would take a pic but I sent them all back. I have a 4th on the way. I may have got a bad batch but I kept getting the company to send me a new one and each one same problem. I am trying a different vendor this time

Ok i will give you that, they could do better in those areas but over all they a re generally built well. Like my SMY 260 i like the 510 but the power
button is meh.

No real major issues on my Sig 150, wish they could do few things differently like using a fatdday vapes 510 connector so the paint wouldn't get so scratch up so easily from my atties being screwed on and also using a better firing button.

Maybe OP , you should look at the modders forum and look into building your own regulated box mod.

I really wouldn't call Sigelei's "budget", They are more middle of the road. The 510 connection on the most recent 150 model is actually pretty nice. Everything screwed on to it sits flush and the threading is pretty smooth. Would I like to see a Fatdaddy connection? Yea, definitely. It's the best connection out there in my opinion. I'd also put the fire button above adequate. It has a nice quiet click and doesn't need to be pressed dead center in order for it to fire. What I will agree on is that the original button on the Sigelei 100 watt was only adequate. Hell, it borderline sucked. It had a sticking problem if it wasn't pressed dead center. They have since then used different buttons for the 100 Plus and 150.

The 100 Plus is $90 and the 150 is $110. The main reason they can get them at this price point is because they built these mods around a $3 piece of stamped aluminum. If they used a custom machined aluminum design, the 150 would probably cost $180.

my Zmax V3 telescopic is a good case in point, well made with very good materials and precision, but had a design defect in the fire button, so had to replace it, the even better quality replacement part was cheap and I am quite happy with my Sigelei experience, but someone with no soldering skills would have been ......!

Bought today two Sigelei 30 W mini. I tought that the ability to swap the 18650 in a flash is very important. Last week I had the Sx mini, wonderful piece of hardware (but I don't lime the menu), just too expensive to daily vape, since I treat my e-cigs just like my pens... they falls a lot, from the table, from the hands, you imagine. So the Sigelei 30W seemed to fit the bill. I had no QC issue; just maybe the display, which is tilted one degree in one of the two devices. Paid 35 British pounds shipped. I was to decide between the MVP 30 Watts, the eLeaf 30 Watts and the Sigelei 30 Watts; the Sigelei, at least on paper, was the best one. The MVP 30 W has that odd recharging cable and departed from pure DC drive; I was done by four 20W eLeaf that I had to retire early because of the soft 510 thread and Mean value display. So the Sigelei looked best. As soon I placed the battery inside the real problem become obvious: the display indicates (on both of them) about 25% more of the power really delivered to the atomiser. This confirmed scientifically later when I connected a lab power supply instead of the 18650 and made a power measurement. I like the Sigelei boxy shape, it is very good otherwise, if you except the soft 510 thread a-la-eLeaf. Also, I would have liked a stainless steel 510-to-eGo adapter instead of the gummy outer skin.
Basically, the Sigelei mini is a 20 Watt (well, 21 or 22 with a fresh battery) device sold as a 30 Watts. Please note I were correctly on PWM mode, not DC-DC mode.
Chinese discounted watts? I don't think it is a QC problem, as the two Sigelei mod boxes I have shows this unflattering "feature". I should have waited for an informed review before buying, as the ones available at this time are all impressions and opinions (and smoke).

My old Sig 100 and Sig 100+ boxes were reasonably well constructed and didn't have any finish flaws. They also both performed well. The Sig 100 did have a garbage 510 though. I got rid of the Sig 100 quite awhile ago and just sold the Sig100+ this weekend. I'm thinning my mod herd and making room for a higher end SX350 box mod such as one from Beast Mode Mods or Mile High Mods.
