After I bought the MVP2, which is a great device, I bought a Sigelei ZMAX telescope.
At first, I was excited. This excitement turned to disappointment when I discovered the 510 threaded tanks were having low load, short and connection issues.
I went through all the testing and determined it was the device itself. oddly enough, My EVOD works perfect on the ZMAX so i determined it had to do with the way the device contacted 510 tanks.
No biggie, I liked the EVOD on the ZMAX especially on the smallest setting with the 18350 battery. It was a great setup to keep in my pocket for work.
Since the tank it came with a knockoff protank1 that worked well on my other devices, I used it because it hit great.
It never occurred to me to verify that the tank was actually made of plastic and not glass. Rookie move on my part.
Well, as you may know, plastic tanks and some acidic juices dot mix well. I found this out by surprise.
I had just filled the fake protank1 with amaretto from MBV, a juice not recommended for plastic tanks.
I discovered withing 15 minutes, the tank practically exploded. it cracked on the bottom leaking juice all down my iTaste 134 and snapped the top clean off the tank!
Sorry for the long post, I just wanted to share my feedback on the Sigelei issues which may be rare, but in my research, has shown to be an issue for others too.
as far as the tank goes, man!, they arent kidding when they say some juices can crack tanks.
I keep learning everyday. too bad. that tank was hitting well
FWIW, the seller offered an exchange for the threading issues but i am too lazy to send it back and I dont want to be without it while im waiting for a replacement. It works great with the EVOD so im rolling with that configuration as my work vape.
Definitely no off limit juices in the plastic EVOD tank!
Live and learn

Hey Mike,
yes the "fake Pro Tank" that comes with the Sig ZMax is.....nice to look at, IMHO. The treading is....well, hit and miss. Found with the top coil it had dry hits, did not want to wick properly, (had to keep it horizontal to work). Did not trust it much after a week....

Many of the "knock offs" have really short coil posts, and do not fire right (if at all) on the Sig.
Love the Kanger Evod BCC on the Sig, have had no issues with them.
Other OEM 510 threaded atmos/tanks have worked exceptionaly well on Sig.

JMHO, the OEM equipment tends to save some time "tinkering" to get them to work. Have tried to stear clear of the knock offs

Thinking of getting " a real" Pro Tank II......better half does not know .......yet  (Hope she does not read this, before it takes place)

Honestly, I think that you would be wise to take advantage of that offer, laziness or no. A week or two of turn-around would end up with you no longer having a device that you already know to have issues, and would eliminate any additional problems that a "lemon" device is going to have later. In my experience, if there is one thing wrong with an item, there's a good chance that it may have others due to being missed on a quality check.

A return to the retailer would also likely result in feedback to the manufacturer, which could likely help improve QA at their end and potentially help any future purchasers of the model.

If I may ask, what seller did you purchase it from? The fact that they offered a return is (to me) a very impressive sign of proactive customer service on their part and I think that our fellow members would like to know of vendors who are willing to offer to replace faulty devices.

to rednblack: I have the same issues with the PT2. the knockoff tank came with the sigelei, I didn't buy it.
I purchased from an eBay seller, where I buy all my stuff. I have had good luck with everything so far. I'm using it now with the evod. keepin it. I'm gonna see if there is a common solution for a common problem. overall, the device itself is real nice. if I had to do it over, I would just get the device instead of the complete kit.
