Sigelei Telescopic Zmax Kit

Can someone go look at the batteries that come with it and tell me if im ok with them or not.

Hey guys i went and ordered this but i think i may have messed up, i already have some Boges 1.6 - 2.0ohm single coil double punched carts for my F16 tank. i know it will work i think with out to much of a hassle but that is were i think i messed up, what wattage should i use them on, i would figure about 7-8watts. If you click the link you will see you can pick up some tank for a damn good price and i couldn't pass on the Protank for 8 dollars more. I also got a aluminum viva nova 3.5ml tank for 2 dollars more. i know i am ok with the protank and the viv nova tank just don't know what watts to use on the boges. Any help would be great. I try to run 50/50 on my juices.

Most batteries and chargers that come with kits are bad. If you get the same batteries, definitely use new ones. Wattage is no big deal. You should just start at the lowest setting and then increase for taste, just like VV. it really isn't that big of a deal, trust me. I had my Zmax up and running in around 2 minutes. You will find a setting that suits your F16 and your cartos.

You are gonna love the Zmax; it is awesome. I still use mine as my main APV.

Well i called okcvapes and asked them about the batteries. The guy told me that they are good batteries and that they don't send out the crappy batteries in their kits. I was trying to decide on what apv to get and i was looking at a Vamo and SID and i went with the Sigelei Telescopic Zmax Kit. I would like to think i got a pretty good deal seeing that i got a protank and a viva nova tank, 2 18650 batteries, charger, 10ml bottle of juice then i ordered 1 more bottle of juice. total for everything was 112.29 that's with shipping included. To be honest it really dont matter to me if i got the best deal or not because im happy with what i picked out, there is always a better deal out there.

As far as the batteries go, my V3 Flat Top kit came with 2 of the cheep blue Chinese 18650 batteries that come with most kits, I also have a pair of Panasonic's in the rotation. I've noticed no difference in battery life or functionality between the sets. They all work fine and I tend to work them pretty hard chain vaping. Also the cheep single bay charger that came in my kit seems to work fine too, though I want to upgrade to a multi bay charger.

I have those batts and they are just ok. Couple of options. First, why not get the Sigelie V5? Roughly the same price and just released this month. Second, if you buy the batts and charger separately, you'll get better batts and charger. Suggest some good Panny batts (IMR CGR18650CH) and a Nitecore 2 Charger. Check out Fasttech. Very inexpensive. I have the V3, and it's one of the best $50 - $60 APV in the market, maybe the very best. Feature rich, SS, attractive, telescopes, OLED screen, same chip as every other device under $100 (except maybe the eVic). Very nice. The V5 adds an 8th menu item, the ability to charge other devices off of the V5 (like your phone). Rather have it than not, for the same money. Thel V5 is Sigelei's attempt to marry the Vamo, the MVP, and the SVD in a single package. They succeeded. Outstanding in every way. Highly recommended. Good luck!

I mean you definitely got a good kit. The zmax does have protection if something does go wrong with your batteries. The big thing that is different between higher end batteries and the cheap ones that come in kits is safety, not necessarily in performance with this type of mod. Will they work in your Zmax? Yes. Are they manufactured with the same precision of an AW or Panasonics? There really isn't any way to know. We may all be wrong; maybe OKC does swap out the cheap batteries and uses better ones. If you do decide to use them, be very careful with them. Don't leave them charging overnight. Take them off the charger when they finish.

I didnt go with the V5 because i didnt want to deal with fasttech, plus being able to charge my cell phone or anything else with my mod isnt something that is a must have for me and i couldnt find a package deal cheaper or about the same than i got.

Well the kit got in and i got to say i am a little disapointed, opened it up and the Mod has some cosmetic blemishes and the screen is scratched up. I sent okcvapes a message about it so hopefully they will make it right, if not guess i can contact Sigelei.

And they did come with the cheap blue batteries even though i was told they dont send the cheap batteries with their kits. sooooo hmmmmm idk. Time will tell

Update

Eric from okcvapes got in touch with me and said i could send the mod back and they will send me another one and credit my shipping to their site, really glad Eric got in touch with me so fast

Yeah, I don't think Fasttech carries these. I have the V3, but would buy the V5 for the $3 higher price tag. Rather have the feature than not have it. I am definitely covered when it comes to charging my phone. My small electronics kit, carries by more fire power than any APV I have, by far. I can charge my phone four times with my battery that I carry with me every day. So, not a critical feature, but features are features, and they make the device more valuable as time goes by. If I ever want to sell it, I'd rather sell my V5 rather than the V3, right? Anyway, you'll love the Sigelei. Great choice. One more recommendation for anyone reading this, and off topic, sorry. Just got the Ithaka clone from FT in today, and it is one superb piece of gear. Probably the best thing I have gotten from FT, and I have everything worth having, believe me (vape wise). Wow. Ciao.

That's pretty annoying! I bought a ZMAX Mini kit as my first real mod from a site called smokeanywhereforpennys.com. I just randomly happened across them and their kits were less expensive than all of the others I could find. The batteries that they provide in all their kits are Efest IMR batteries. They are just average, mid-range batteries. Can buy them at local electronics stores as well in 18650...the 18500 and below are much more difficult to find locally.

The screen comes with a protective coating on it. Remove it and marvel at a nice OLED.

I think you got a great kit and a great deal. I did run across the V5 at VaporTek USA:

Sigelei Zmax V5 with Cell phone charger

Just for future shoppers considering this device, I just wanted to mention that the V5 is $61, and the V3 at OKC was $70. Just for perspective for prospective buyers is all. My two cents.
