Not sure what you mean about it being a flop? There is definitely an 18350 short mode as that's how I've been using it. Maybe you have it mixed up with another mod?

The charger provided works just fine and turns off when the battery is charged ( flips from red light to green and the battery is not hot or even warm )

I was responding to the text I quoted regarding the vamo.
Unless you have a specialized vamo v3 it doesn't do single 18350 mode. Whereas the v2 vamo does, as well as being aVW device.

I couldn't find the Stainless Steel Vamo for that price anywhere like 2 days ago, link me?

That really bites about the charger, thanks for the heads up, wouldn't want it to lead to a fire or anything....
Lol steph. Do you read the messages I send? vaporbreak.com . need a PayPal account . Make an account on vaporbreak.com and you will see the price of$26.99 for the chrome and gun metal and$29.99 for the ss. Won't see the price unless you have an account. I suggest using PayPal though I haven't had issues. Shipping takes awhile from China.

I definitely like the look however from what I can tell, it doesn't appear to be a true flattop. In the pictures I've been able to see and even the pBusardo video, it looks like there is a gap between the device and the tank. Is it a big deal? Probably not but I'd prefer it if the tank was able to obtain the added support of resting on the top of the device as opposed of only being supported by the threads.

Vape On! :)

The Zmax V3 telescopic does have a slightly raised 510 connector, so there will be an ever so slight gap for airflow when using a 510 tank or clearomizer. However, unlike the Vamo, it accommodates Ego threaded devices without need of an adapter for a very secure connection.

I've had mine for nearly a week with no problems and I love it.

Are they still out? I am a fanboy of what I think is a total steal for the level of device you get. LOL Just wait it out a little if they're still out. Why not order everything else? The charger, the batteries in the meantime. Those can be used with just about any mod. Pm me when you're ready.

3 of everything always makes it better.

Vamo fits the EVOD just fine. Will not fit the t3 or mt3 without adapter.

I'm out. Not a vamo thread. Want to stay on topic. Let me know Steph. For that price or$10 more I can put together a top of the line 4bay charger you can leave overnight , panny batteries, and a vv/vw device.

This Sigelei sounds very impressive, thanks everyone for posting about it!! I was in the market for a Vamo, but I'm starting to think this zmax v3 might be a better deal. Is everyone still happy with theirs??

***

I recieved mine on th 8th, just this passed Monday ...

Been using it daily with no problems ...

- This ZMax design ... Telescopic Flat-Top, Stainless Steel, Brushed Finish ... is a WINNER in my opinion
- It's performance is equal to that of the existing ZMax V2
- Version 3 perks ... ego skirt devices & kanger devices fit and work fine.

Very happy with it ... I would recommed it to others interested in a regulated device.

Your right about the gap ...
- The 510 connector on this mod, is a raised one, just like the vamo.

I have a SmokTech "The Natural" mechanical mod, I filed down the 510 connector, so a AGA-T+ would sit flush on it ... works great.
- just an option

Thanks, Appreciate the info! I do think the device is very slick looking and with a single battery, should be compact enough to carry anywhere which is exactly what I am interested in. I've got plenty of devices that sit at home, just need something easy to carry with me when I'm out. I do have a couple of eGo's that I use for that purpose currently but I want something a little more substantial.

Thanks! I bet that's a sweet setup ... must be popular cause most places I've seen are sold out of the Natural. Mod's are definitely the way to go with gennys. How sweet is that AGA-T+ eh? :)

Just got my Zmax telescopic in the mail today from VaporAlley. Ive been using eGos for the last 2 years and this is the first real mod. I have the 18650 batts I bought with the device charging as we speak.
As a new user, any tips for an initial setup for the device?
RMS setting is what I think most are using... initial VV setting? 3.7 or do most people work in the watt mode?
thx for the assistance.

In watts, you probably can't go wrong by starting at 6 watts.

Voltage: If you were using an eGo type 3.7V device try starting at 3.4V. Use the RMS setting.

The nifty whiz-bang chart:

Thx for the quick responses, so to clarify, using a duel coil 1.5 I should start out at about 3.4 volts and play around with it... and using a single coil cart that says 510D LR is most likely 2 ohm... so I could/should start playing at about 3.7 - 4.0. ... the eVOD I also purchased is 2.5 ohm (I believe) and I could start off about 4.2 -4.7 volts.
I know this is all speculation, but it gives me a jumping off point if I'm reading the chart correctly... thanks again.
And just leave the watt feature alone for now (i.e. leave it at it's default, what ever that is).

The Natural and the AGA-T+, pair up ... VERY NICE !

This is what my setup looks like after filing down the 510 connector of the natural ... Working great wtih no problems.

My younger brother was putting the pair to good use, while he was here on vacation, so come end of the month I plan to send him the set.

I also seen pictures of the natural paired with the smoktech rsst ... VERY VERY NICE !

Just purchased one from electronicstix the flat top version it looks much nicer then the round top lmao i live in the uk has any body ordered from electronicstix from the uk the postage option was 1st class international how long should i expect if the mod gets sent out monday?

I like the look of the flatop a little better myself although both are good looking devices.

Electronicstix are reputable vendors ... you shouldn't have any issues with them. As far as delivery times, I'm not sure, wish I could help but I'd only be guessing.
