The number 4 is unlucky in Chinese culture so you will likely never see a v4 of anything. The Chinese word for 4 is pronounced nearly the same as their word for death so it's very bad luck to have v4 mod!

me too, but i'm not seeing much new value in this one.

I really dont mind for the v5.. The only new is able to use as a usb charger,,, i would never charge my phone with my mod, i prefer have my phone shut down and my mod with battery

Wonder if we can use the new "passthru" as a partial batt passthru to charge the batts. That would be useful. Also, screen does look better, like others mentioned, maybe this did clean up language on OLED, and some readouts now look like two lines. Still don't use puff counters. Hitting EV on July 15. Vapor Joe's has a good coupon code.

The v5 is not a passthru.. Is for use the zmax as a charger to charge your phone, mp3, or whatever you what to charge with usb. You need to set in the menu as charger option and you will provide current to other device. But you will not able to charge your zmax with usb adapter or used as a passthru,,,,,,, duuuuhhh !!! How you will be used as a passthru if you can not conect an atty

The Sigelei website says that the option to charge usb devices is the only new additional feature. It looks similar to the V3. I'm under-whelmed.

Yes! A puff-counter! Now I don't have to waste all those pads of paper figuring out how many puffs I take from my V3!
