On my zmax when it is set to 11watts and I fire it with a fully charged battery it shows 11watts, but as I use the unit and the battery charge drops, so do the watts. First it goes tp 10.3 then 9.8 and so on. Is this normal or do I have a defective unit? I am using a kayfun with a 1.7 coil. I had the unit usually set to display resistance so I dont know if it was doing it all along.
Thanks for any help.

The only way that my V5 can achieve anything over about 5-7 watts is to run 2x 18350 batts stacked. I've even bought 30A Orbtronic Ultra-High Drain 18650s and still won't fire anywhere NEAR the advertised max of 15W no matter what res coil I'm using. Spent A LOT of time trying to figure it out reading this

Just tested my V5 & although I had it set to 15 watts with an 18650 it was only putting about about 9.6 watts. Put a pair of 18350 stacked & was able to get 15 watts. I usually keep my V5 set to display ohms but when I change this to display power it shows the real picture of what's going on.
