My 510 is not broken, and even though as you adjust it, the pin becomes very wobbly, it has been fine for me, thus far. I just don't like fooling with the contact pin when I change/take off my atty, which I do a lot. I like different atty's, and while most of the ones I have do not require adjusting, some do, and as I purchase new atty's who knows if I will have to adjust them or not. I would rather not fool with it, and a spring loaded 510 would be the solution to the issue.

And no, I do not see the problem, as I could give it a shot, and break it!!! I want someone with the skillset to swap it without breaking it. You obviously made the incorrect assumption my 510 pin is broke, and if it was, and that was the actual issue, I would just send it in for repair, and purchase something else to tide me over until the repairs were completed.

No I didn't assume it was broke but why would someone replace it if it wasn't broke ... That's why there is very little knowledge if and how It could be done as the device is relatively new... However I'm actually in the process of replacing my board with a DNa 40 board maybe I might replace my 510 with a spare fat daddy one I have as well

It seems to be a documented problem and the fix is to get an atty with adjustability so you can leave the pin all the way down on the mod and just adjust it on the atty. Seems like a simple fix

so, I am supposed to give up all my atty's that don't have adjustable pins, and use one's that adjust only? Brilliant, and no thanks, I will stick with my atty's and fix the box.

Hey, I don't blame you. I might do it, too. The FDV is a really nice 510, so why not? I'm planning major upgrades to my hana clones: real Evolve boards, new 510s and more comfortable buttons. I may as well do the 510 on my Sigelei while I'm at it.

And, no, I haven't done this before so you don't want your mod to be my guinea pig :D

I've read elsewhere that the v2 is coming out and supposedly fixed this problem. I have been wanting one of these higher powered boxes to move myself away from mechs but I knew there were going to be initial release problems, so I have been playing the waiting game until these boxes are actually fixed for me to purchase one
