I receives the 75w TC from gearbest.com to review. Here it is....

In the words of riptripper, "If I lost or broke this device today, would I go out tomorrow and buy a new one?"

NO, absolutely not.

Mainly because it lacks longevity in wattage mode. Battery life is lacking, bur only because I was vaping around .4-.6 builds.... After about 20mins of vaping on a full charged battery, it would say check battery. I was using this at 50watts.

I haven't touched the TC, it may be decent, but I gave up after the wattage mod attempts.

I'm so used to my dual battery mods at high wattages that I've become accustomed to it.

For someone who vapes at 30w on wattage mode, it may be for you.

Like I said, I never used the TC mode, so it may be worth it too, not sure. I will play with it some more when I get my titanium wire in.

This is only part one of my review and is just my own personal beliefs and opinions. Do not bash my review, but feel free to add your thoughts or ideas.

I got it at vapor.gearbest.com

I considered getting one, solid company, good build quality and looks good. It just seemed that every review or mention of that mod knocked on the battery life, even at lower wattages. The couple people I talked to that owned one said the same thing, nice mod, but will eat through batteries quick. I passed and just got a IPV D2, so far, loving it.

Looks like Sigelei is already coming out with it's replacement a new 75w TC that will take a 26650 battery. Don't know if it's the same chip, but hopefully they made some changes. Coulda been a great mod.

Yeah, it COULDVE been. I mean who wants to carry around 10 spare 18650's? I dont use single mech tubes because of battery life, so this is about the same.

My ipv3li lasts about 24 hours solid vaping before needing batteries charged. I use it at 80w on a .2 dual build, and I chain vape throughout the day.

This Sigelei is beautiful, it really is. The battery doors are on both sides, its solid, nice finish, comfortable, USB charging, it just lacks life.... Like I said, maybe if you vape at 20/30 watts, I may last an hour or two, but that sucks.... Lol, it was free so I'm not complaining because I didn't spend anything.

I hear ya. I REALLY wanted one too, just looks so gosh darn nice. I got a Stumpy clone coming in any day now that woulda looked sweet on top of that Sigelei. I just couldn't justify changing batteries on the hour or being tethered to a USB cable constantly. Their new 75w TC doesn't look nearly as nice, imo, such a shame, they should of kept that look at least. :grr:

After 20 mins it says check battery??? I would seriously think about checking the battery...

Or not... The device is pulling about 5.2 volts each time I hit, so running it at 75 watts drains a battery..... Then bump it down to 50 watts, 20 mins later, bump it down to 30, then say F it....

When it says check battery it.means it is unable to pull the voltage its set to, and if its on 75w, and can't pull 75, it readjusts itself down to the voltage/watts it CAN pull, so like I said...... Above.... If you run this at 75 watts, it will eat your battery.

Its not a battery issue... I'm not stupid. They are brand new Samsung 25r, fully checked, tested, authentic, this device is just not made to vape long at 75 watts... I'm not the only person that says that.

Thanks for trying.... :)

I've had one for a few weeks now. I hear ya. Here's my take on it.

At 75 watts with a 25R 20A battery, which is what I mostly use, it's drawing around 26A when the battery voltage is 3.2 under load. If you use it until the mod shuts you down for low battery, take the battery out, check the voltage and it will read around 3.6-3.7V. I generally vape at around 40 watts. I find when the mod shuts me down my batts read around 3.6V.

Steam Engine says at 75 watts with a 25R you're going to get around 7 minutes total runtime, or 80 five second drags. I imagine that's for the whole battery charge, so down to around 2.5V under load. 3.6-3.7 no-load is about half the charge, so 3.5 minutes runtime.

With a dual battery mod at 75 watts you're drawing half the amps per battery as in a single battery mod. That means less voltage sag and you're also in an amp draw range where the battery will get more time per mAh.

In any case, I knew when I bought the 75 TC that a single battery at 75 watts was not going to last long. If they had made the shut down voltage lower the batts would last a bit longer on a charge, but they would also be delivering more current and most of our batts are rated 20A, not 30. I'm good with that.

Anyway, that's my opinion and as always, YMMV :)

Yep, battery life sucks for me too and the TC mode as well. I burnt a coil in TC mode twice with a full tank and the tank getting too hot to vape on. Same tank on another TC mod worked perfectly, moved it over to the Sig, got a few good vapes, thought something tasted funny, next drag... Bleecchh... Not a wicking issue either. My brother does not do TC and I got him a Sig 75 with a Subtank mini using a 1.2 ohm coil at 18 watts and he gets a bit better battery life but he only takes 5 or 6 puffs every couple of hours or so.

I use mine in TC mode at around 45 watts and the battery (Sony VTC5) cuts out at around 3.45 volts. I'm using a Velocity clone RDA on it with a nickel build and I go through 3 batteries in one day. I am vaping on this about 80 percent of my time (with the other 20 percent on tanks on other mods). If the Sigelei 75 was the only mod I used throughout the day I could see me going through 4 batteries a day. With other single 18650 battery mods I've used (i.e. SX Mini M Class), the battery doesn't cut off until it hits around 3.2 volts, which could last me probably 65-70 percent of the day.

Really only 20 minutes? I'm not sure what the battery cutout voltage is supposed to be, but if the mod is 90% efficient, you're looking at about 7 minutes of continuous run time. If you're going through that much in 20 minutez, you've successfully replaced the oxygen in your body with nicotine lol. If I run my single battery vw mod at 40 watts, I get 12 minutes of continuous run time, which us enough for me for most of the day.
