I started on my quest to stop smoking back in September. So far I've been 125 days stinkie free. I started with an EVOD starter kit which I still use from time to time. I quickly went to an iTaste SVD which I love!! I've gotten used to VV/VW mods and playing with rba's. (Currently loving my KFL+ clone)

Well I notice last week that the 510 threading on my SVD started getting sloppy... all my 510 threaded toppers only hang on by about a turn and a half. Its like the first 3-4 threads sheared off... Not a happy camper. I'm going to miss my SVD as I don't think the threadings going to last another week or so (its getting that bad).

Having said that, I'm hitting the confirm purchase button on this as soon as I get done with this post!

Ill be waiting for the tattoo email and the prayer book from Ocelot!

Yeah I have been debating on getting one also. I have lost 2 Vamos due to nothing but the threads stripping no matter how much I babied it. I look at it this way I could spend 120 for another couple of Vamos in the next year or so or just get a Provari and be done. I have heard good things about the threading on them.

Don't feel about about it. Think of it this way. You will have a mod that can handle almost any device you screw on to it with no worries.

I haven't had my Provari very long, but the quality of the build is really impressive. I don't think the threads are in any danger of stripping out in nromal use. Enjoy your new acquisition.

About a month into vaping and a bad night where both my Spinners wonked out on me at the same time, I decided it was time to upgrade and bought my first ProVari. I really haven't touched anything else I bought after that except my other two ProVaris that I bought used. I mix and match them according to my wardrobe and battery size, dressing them up or down with beauty rings and extensions.

I'm glad I went that route because nearly 4 months in now I know I don't want to be messing about with my devices and just want to load and go.

Well it got ordered!! I'm waiting on the shipping email!! Thank God too, because nothing will thread anymore on the 510 threads. I knew it was going to give up the ghost this morning when my Kanger Unitank held on by 1 full turn. Can't wait!!

I went ahead and got the starter kit with an extra 18490 battery. I just wanted another Protank! Next week I may add a z atty pro as well... I haven't decided yet.

Is this a common problem with the SVD? And possibly the VTR?? I hope not.

I was thinking about removing the top ring on the VTR, so that I could put some 22mm atomizers on it...

But that long adapter + a top-heavy atomizer doesn't make me feel too good, either.

The ego threads on it are fine, so I'm probably going to give it to my friend who I converted who only has ego toppers. He may be able to get some use out of it.
