These dna boards are deceptively thick ... that chip enclosure is deep. Eats up a lot of vertical space.

Annnnd now the screen pulled off the ribbon entirely. I guess the other end is the weak point after you glue the board side, eh retird?

What they probably should be looking into is a set of pins on the screen and the pcb and just using a ribbon cable between them. I've got one due in next week, I'll have to take a look at it and see if it is possible to modify it that way.

Yes, the current configuration is very limiting. The ribbon is very short. Not that I didn't know this before I started. I guess I just wasn't careful enough. This box may be too small for what I'm trying to do.

hum, as has been said in numerous threads/posts....be careful with the display and ribbon.....many modders have experienced just what you have....

Yep. I knew it, and it didn't stop me from breaking it lol
That's what I get for trying to put the screen in the cover I guess. This box (same as fistpack) is a little small in the area where the board is (it tapers). That's what got me into trouble.

Modders do yourself a favor and put the screen on the same side as the rest of the electronics :/
