Ok my last order was a while back and im just now getting to the bottom of my carts (a while back is like feb.) anyway ive had 5 of the last 7 carts of that order empty. So i sent a email to v4l and told them just as info and got this email back

Hi Brent

Cartomizers are actually not refundable or exchangable. We have the VP of Product Development overseeing operations personally in China. Cartomizers are hand filled with a precise amount of liquid.

Valerie

Ok thats fine but i know steve would not have sent me somthing like this he would have either said at least thank you and he would look into the or as i have seen here many times offered to replace them

Ok thats all im just kinda disappointed and thought id share the way i feel today

I don't think carts are meant to be used within 2 weeks. Considering the shipping time from China to here and then the amount of time to the sale, and then the shipping time to your door. That's not something that people would know ahead of time and it would have to mean that the liquid either evaporated or leaked if it was filled properly. No one would plan for that.

Hey Brent,

The response Val gave is current policy, we cannot do exchanges on cartomizers. Please PM me your details and I'll see what we can do for you.

Thanks,

Mark

They are definitely not meant to be used within two weeks. I have some carts that I've had for 6 months + and I popped one open yesterday and it worked like a champ.

Oh, ok. But the other part was about the Taryn spin. Someone mentioned a possible little air pocket, that was easily resolved by a spin.

I definitely agree with this. Sometimes as cartos sit for a while they will appear dry, but usually the liquid just needs to be "redistributed" through the carto.

Sometimes you get some inferior carts. I had a pack of 5 watermelon carts that didn't last long at all and started to burn hot and harsh after a very short time. They probably were not empty as you guessed, just not performing up to expectations. This happens on occasion, and in my experience, well within the 1-2% quoted fail rate for a disposable product (which is way way way made up for by having the ability to refill, boil, refill, ad infinitum most of the other carts). A quick spin may help, or the center tube may be misaligned slightly (pop off the mouthpiece cap and check), add them to the pail for future boiling (sometimes this helps), try reverse spin to remove any remaining juice and refill with CCRM, or just toss them and replace with other new ones. Carts aren't always the same, there is a definite variation you will need to get used to; it's just the way it is :)

No where have I ever seen a 'use within 2 weeks' time frame posted on the website... That is absolutely ludicrous. If there were such a short expiration on carts then the boxes would be date stamped.

Also, just because you have a man on the ground in china does not mean he can watch every cart being filled. Suggesting that defects are no longer a possibility because 1 american is there to watch over production is beyond the pall. Especially since we KNOW that the manufacture of the premium carts took place at several different factories.

I have found duds since Leaford has been in china. However my duds were the only ones in their box so I wrote it off as no biggie, probably filled on a Monday.

I really hope the spin took care of your issue as an entire box of bad carts would upset me as well.

I have heard of the 2week timeframe on disposables sold at a store locally, and it's true that this was already resolved as/and not being relevant. But I too have noticed that a couple of prefilleds on a free smpler I got with a kit appeared to have run out of juice extrememly fast...that is, until I spun them. So the theory about a small air bubble came to thought. What confused me could have been that the pack was the very last pack remaining after two months.
