Signatures

Just curious, how dificult would it be for KBV to set up the signatures with the KBV banner that have the "How many cigs", "How much saved", etc., info in them? I would love to swap out my Provari sig for a KBV sig with that info.

I believe there has to be a script of some kind installed somewhere; cgi script, java script. Not sure exactly. When I get time I may ck into it.

Yea I'm sure there is some cgi-bin Fu going on. Just thought it would be something cool that KBV could add to their website, so we could have the custom info sigs.

I believe I can do it and make it text editable where you can put in quit date, cigs avoided, money saved or in some cases "I spent 10Xs on vaping what I would have spent on cigs buying mods!" I'll link it in this thread when I get it done.

Hehe I imagine most of us would...With as many people asked for help to setup a clickable banner to KBV site... In any case I agree with mfraz, rest while ya got the chance!

I'm going to rest I worked on it for a bit and got nowhere I don't even have a Forum Supplier banner yet and submitted that so we'll maybe wait on that and have a "uniform" one. I saw a thread on how to do it and I can ask around in the Forum Suppliers forum.

I think QLock was referencing the site banner, not a sig. If you click on Forum Suppliers up at the top, you will notice that KBV is on the list, but has a blank tile where the site banner should be.

LOL Designing the look of the signature is the easy part. Setting it up to auto-update the information on it requires some extra coding magic.

Although if it's within his abilities...
