Significant reduction in e-juice flavor over time? What do ...

Hello, you good-looking and intelligent people. This is my first post on the forum after lurking for quite a while unregistered. I've had a pretty successful vaping experience (thanks in part to information I've found on this here forum), until I ran into a roadblock. I'm hoping you folks can give me some insight.

Here's the short version: After vaping for about a month, I've gradually experienced a reduction in flavor from my e-juice, to the point at which I can barely tell the difference between flavors.

Detailed version: About a month ago, I decided to kick analogs for good and started vaping. I began my journey with a Joye Ego "classic" starter kit and three bottles of Dekang liquid — peach and pear in 16mg nic, and RY4 in 24mg nic. I tried the RY4 right away and didn't like it — it tasted really unpleasant and the fake tobacco flavor was overwhelming — but settled in with the peach and pear. Both tasted very luscious and fruity, similar to hooka shisha.

I was pretty dissatisfied with the performance from the Ego cartridges (really inconsistent hit, constantly "topping off"), and by the second week I'd started direct dripping until I could order something more my speed. A few days after I started dripping, I noticed that the vape I was getting from both the peach and the pear flavors was less juicy and flavorful than it had been at first. I chalked that up to a declining atomizer, assuming that direct dripping on the wick was shortening its lifespan and making the vape taste dry.

About a week ago, I received my next shipment of supplies: An Ego-T tank atomizer and pack of tank cartridges. The vape with this set-up is much more satisfying and consistent — but the e-juice flavor problem is now worse, not better.

The peach and pear flavors are now nearly indistinguishable from each other, and only faintly fruity or sweet. A few days ago, I gave the mostly-unused RY4 flavor a try, thinking that maybe the extra air in the nearly-empty peach and pear bottles was causing the decline in flavor. Again, no dice. The RY4 flavor, previously overwhelming, is now just as faint (which is probably a good thing, because I need something to smoke until my Ms. T's e-juice order gets here).

So, dear vapers: What gives? Is Dekang liquid just that low in quality? Is it common to see a decline in flavor as you go through a bottle? Have my taste buds become magically immune to e-juice? Or could I be using an improper vaping technique? I've been storing my e-juice bottles in a box in a dark corner of my house, which is never over 80 degrees ... or is that too warm? Do I need to use a different storage technique?

HELP PLEASE!

You have a normal phenomenon called vapers tongue. I had it happen at about the 4 week time period as well. Everything tasted like I was vaping water. You need to drink a lot of water. Vaping is very dehydrating. It can last for a few days to a few weeks, but your tastebuds will come back. It's maddening though, isn't it? Drink, drink, drink. Brush your teeth and tongue. Chew cinnamon gum. Rinse your mouth with salt water, sometimes works for a bit.
