Signing up through Facebook

I don't know which of you forum admins came up with the idea to implement that feature, but good job! I think that's a great add-on!!

And to be honest, I wasn't going to sign up if you didn't have that. You know, sometimes you find a new forum late at night, and you can't be bothered with CAPTCHA and verifying e-mails etc etc, and at the time I wasn't sure if I was going to order an e-cig kit ever... but... lo and behold here I am.

Same story here! It's pretty sweet that you can still customize a profile too. And I get updates on my facebook app on my iphone!

I'm glad you like it. Personally, I hate it, but that's just because it's a pain to deal with in the forum controls. But it's worth the hassle to make you guys happy.

If I was to sign up thru facebook what shows up in my public areas? I'm not sure I want my friends and family getting upset with my vaping untill I can explain how safe it is to everyone.Not many of my friends even know I currently smoke analogs. So my stuff on the forum would show up where? public or private?

You're already signed up. I don't think you can sign up thru facebook now.

What I meant by "signing up thru facebook" was that I was able to create my forum account here by using my facebook details, rather than entering my e-mail and my username and my password and all that jazz in the traditional way of registering for a forum.


That being said... *IF* you were to create a new account thru facebook, nothing shows up by default to the public. It does send you a notice when someone replies to a thread you made.. and it will ask me each time after I post on the forum if I want to make a wall-post on my Facebook about the forum post I just made.... but thats about it.

Oh, and it's got my facebook default pic in my profile on here.
