Maybe I'm just paranoid but There is about a 3/4th second delay from when I press the button on my ego till I hear the sizzle of the nova... On my stardust (that broke, so i can't test) It felt like it started sizzling the exact moment I pressed the button.

Is this normal for all clearomizers or is my Nova not conducting the power from the battery properly?

Yeah 4 to 4.4 is where I normally run mine also on a twist. The only complaint I have about the nova is its not good for chain vaping I can not avoid dry hits. So I just use it as a time to time vape. When I am home I use phoenix bottom coils I just dont trust them for when I am out they leak for no reason at times.

I'm a new vaper...about 4 weeks and I'm ready to step up to clearomizers. I want to try several different kinds. The Vivi Nova 2.5 is one I would like to sample. I have a couple questions perhaps one of you can answer. I see they offer both short wick and long wick options on the mini nova. What are pros and cons of each? And secondly, I'm planning on using the mini nova with an eGO Twist. What are the pros and cons of the 1.8, 2.4, etc... ohm levels? And I'm assuming the mini nova will screw onto my Twist without adaptions? Thanks for your help.

The mini nova will fit your twist, no problems. I had a mini nova and I've tried both the long and the short wicks and can't tell the difference as far as vapor production or taste. When I vape, I hold mine almost straight out from my lips, like I'm smoking a cigar. It seems like most people hold theirs in more of an upright position and that's where the longer wicks have the advantage. If you use shorter wicks, all you have to do is tip it up occasionally so the liquid reaches the wicks.

The nova will work fine on the twist i have tried all the heads and personally i perfer the 2.4 i do like a cooler vape so depending on what you want you may want to try the 1.8 as it is warmer you will not get the same heat as an 306 but it is not bad. As far a short and long wicks i tip by habit so i see no diferance in either one. But if you don't want to look like harry potter blowing smoke and waveing your twist like a magic wand you can try the long wicks and see if they will pull from the bottom. For fitting on the twist it is 510 threaded so it will fit on the smaller center threads. If having the outside threads exposed bothers you like it did me they sell a mini cone i guess is the best way to describe it that covers those threads and fits flush to the bottom of the vivi. That also keeps it from rocking like some do for some reason. Over all the viv is a good choice that i use out an about they seem to never leak when i am home i use bottom coil phoenix or drip both tend to make a mess at times so they don't get to go out.
