Yeah, this is out there. Okay so I'm fixing to start vaping and I have some people worried about something rather silly and that is sugar residue from the vapor. The worry is that that e-liquid has sugar type substance and when the vapor is exhaled it will leave behind a sugar residue on the table/whatever I'm next to that might draw bugs /ants/spiders and things of that nature. Is there any reason to believe that could happen ? Yes, it's a crazy question but since I don't know what I'm talking about I have to ask here.

I have a question myself and I've read that it's no smell which is a big perk for me because of my small room, I assume that's true and won't smell like smokes do, right ? Thanks.

There's no sugar residue. I vape in front a big iMac all day long, and nothing attracts to the screen.

There is a little bit of smell, but nothing like cigarettes, and it's pleasant. If someone came into the room and didn't know what you were doing, they would assume you had just eaten mints, candy or were chewing gum. That smell fades very quickly.

Other Places
You guys have made my day/week - I'm getting my starter kit later today and all I've been hearing is how I'm going to infest the place with bugs. I thank you both

Obviously the person saying this isn't for vaping or doesn't have a clue. Most juices consist of VG, PG, and food flavoring. Alot of the sweetness also comes from the PG in juice. Some vendors offer sweetner but it's by request only. I tend to stay at a 70pg/30vg mix and it's sweet enough without anything extra.

Also, another reason for no bugs, nicotine is used as a bug killer. I take old juice that I won't vape and pour it on ant hills outside. Do some research on the uses of nicotine.

I've been vaping a really long time now and I can tell you that there is definitely no bug attracting quality of the vapor. As mentioned above the only thing you will notice when you exhale is a warm vapor with a hint of whatever flavor you happen to be using. There are some wickedly 'smokey' juices out there that do in fact go overboard in trying to replicate the effect and taste of a cigarette and they can smell (and taste imho) a bit like an ashtray.

Still, regardless of the juice or e-cig model... I have never been able to see or smell any lasting effect of any kind. My new-to-me car as of 3 years ago has been vaped in all day every day just about (I'm a field tech) and nobody can tell I 'smoke' in it. Although if I have been chain-vaping coffee flavor on a 3 hour drive to a site, somebody might ask me where the starbucks is when I first get out :D

Not a silly question at all, and I wish you the best of luck.

Take care,
- Hap
