I contacted AltSmoke about the limit of the switch in the SB, this is what they replied with,

John, The switch is rated 2A@48VDC, which will get you 96 watts. The spring in the SB will fail at 7.5 Amps. I would say keep it under 6 Amps Chad With best regards, Silver Bullet/BB Issues

I know some people were wondering about this information and I haven't seen it anywhere so I figured that I would post it. My first SB arrives in 2 days I can't wait.

That 7.5 amps for the spring. Is that also "@ 48v"?

John, It can reach 7.5 Amps at any voltage, depending on the circuit. When I got them to fail on my bench top power supply I was pushing 8 volts with dead short to spring. Chad
