i plan on getting a genesis rba but im doing my research before hand. i plan to test the ohms before i put it on my silver bullet and i plan to use around 1.2-1.6 ohms but im worried it still might get a short while i have it on checking for hot spots. i have ego twists, would i be better off checking for hot spots and fixing them on my twist before i put it on my silver bullet? does the twist have short protection? should i also do this with a dripping rba like the igo l? thanks guys

thanks guys, i got the igo l and built it pretty much first try, works like a dream although i might drill a little bigger airflow hole. its running on about 1.6 ohms, 3 wraps with 32g kanthal, i should have some 30g soon and gonna try to bring the ohms down to about 1.2 for a little more intense vape. i might go sub ohms in the future but i just dont need to right now. and yes i meter everything the atty and my batteries before i use them and a few times during, just to be on the safe side.
