Silver Bullet at 6v

Hello everyone...if anyone remembers me from a different thread...I would like to apologize because I did not realize that using caps meant that I was yelling. That said, I was wondering what is the best carto on the sb at 6volts.

I am using a boge 510 3ohm and the sb just fries it, I thought at 6v you needed to use a higher ohm cart. I would appreciate any help on this matter

Wow, didn't know the SB was 6v. You would think a 3ohm carto could take it.

I think in general you want your ohms of a single coil to be no more than 2.2 lower than your voltage, or at least any lower is darn hot and may give problems. See if you can find 4 ohm cartos. The 3 ohm cartos are good up to 5v or a bit more. But 6v may be a bit much. There may be some HV aka HR Cage cartos that are 3.4ohms - that would be a bit closer to what I think you need. But I am not an expert in high voltage.

See what these threads suggest and ignore any stupid suggestions that are obviously too low ohms (you know - the kind where somebody lists what they use on a totally different voltage)

Try dual coil 1.7 ohm carto, that's all I'm using inside my tanks and out, on my SB, great vape .
Yes the SB is 6v ( 2 x 3.0 CR123a )and 3.7v and one of the best Mods out there, never fails.

MadVapes got them for $2 SS cartos. While you there I highly recommend their $12 dual coil carto tank ( including the carto and tip ), great way to start without the hassle of dripping and carrying a bottle. Once you get used to the tank sys you will never go back to attyy's or plain cartos.

I think I might order one of those tanks too, just for the heck of it. I just have an eGo, but it should vape fine.

Hi Frank,
You can use your 3.7 volt device until you get some cartos to handle the 6 volt. One of the LR Boges on 3.7 volt make the 3.7 volt feel like 5 volts. You'll be amazed at how good it is.
