you lost me chief..he seems to have the same problem as me, a depth problem????
Stock 801/901 atty adapters(battery) have a center pole depth of .040in, Stock 510's are .160in the insulators are thin and flexable, if the tolerance is off on the atty or battery connection it can "squish" or cause the center pole to shift allowing a no fire of atty situation.

I've had my SB for about 2 weeks now and I love it. (still shiny, no black spots). Anyway, the thing produces unbelievable amounts of good vapor and throat hit. I use the 510 version. The only problem I have noticed is the battery charger. Most of the time I have to tinker with it to get the green light to go to red when I put the used bat in. Not sure if it is charging even though the light is green. Usually I have to squeeze the metal springy thing holding the battery a couple of times. Is this a common problem and is there a way to deal with it?

Unfortunatley most chargers do this, my "high dollar" ultrafire wf-139 does this as well. Some people bend the tabs a wee bit to get a better connection, BE CAREFULL if you attempt it, you don't want to break it off. It's all a learning curve. :D

Has worked flawlessly from day 1. The increased battery life has completely changed the way I vape. It made something that at times was cumbersome, and even on occasion left me without, into a new way to get my fix without having to worry if my bats needed charging.

I was part of the initial preorder on the SB v1, loved it then. I upgraded my bottom to the extended tube for 18650 bat use, and the extended battery life can only make what was already a fantastic product even better.

If you like to vape, and want to switch from analogs permanently, you should buy the SB no questions asked.

The SilverBullet is Very well built.. it looks, feels and vapes very professional, I love the button placement, size and that it is sleek recessed button. The workmanship is unsurpassed. This is a no fuss no worries PV easy to use by nubee's and expert vapers. Anyone looking for a excellent PV should own a SilverBullet.

LOL you named them. I love it after a new atty breaks in. UPDATE after 17 hours and 2.5mL of juice my 18650 is at 3.9v, started out at 4.2v this morning!

Damn, 17 hrs? I never get that out of my 18650 batts. Then again i vape 3-4ml a day. best i get is 10 hrs. before my batts start to die off. Not that i use the 18650 often. I am usually full steam ahead at 6v, LOL.

My review from the altsmoke.com website(slightly revised - to protect the innocent)

Title is: Calling this a mod is an insult:

When I think of a mod I think of someone modifying a peice of copper or aluminum pipe or PVC they bought at Home Depot , adding threads, painting it and epoxying to it a CNC'd aluminum adapter(that they got by ripping apart an old joye 510 battery). This is not to offend any modders out there, if that's your thing, more power to ya. But if you're gonna make something commercially available and throw a somewhat hefty price tag on it, it better be more then a high school, vo-tech, metal shop project.

Getting back to the Silver Bullet, This is NOT a mod by any definition. This is a well engineered, form following function, aesthetically superior, work of art. Just look at it , run your fingers over it and feel it, press down on the switch and feel the quality of the firm click. But most of all, Vape with it, and you will find it miles above anything else available out there.

Yes I have and will continue to recommend it for these reasons: Extremely high quality, rugged, precise machining & elegant engineering. All of this translates to a very predictable, consistent vaping device that is a joy to use and a beauty to look at. Did I mention "rugged"? It's important to emphasize that this thing is built to withstand abuse. Thanks very much!
