A) You can blow out major parts on you pc if you screw up your wiring!
B) You could damage atomizers or cartos if you screw up your wiring!
C) Most importantly: YOU WILL FEEL VERY STUPID IF YOU ATTEMPT SOMETHING LIKE THIS AND BREAK YOUR PC OR RUIN A BUNCH OF ATTIES AND CARTOS!

I was looking into buying some 5v batteries to get that highly desired 5v sweet spot. Instead, I went to Radio Shack and picked up a few switches and project boxes. Here is the result.
I used a 3x2x1" project box and a 12v 125a rated toggle switch that was designed for automotive uses.
I also ran across a post for the wii cig and instantly fell in love with it! So I did some online hunting and found out that my local Walgreens carried the wii mote candy dispensers. So I rigged one of them up as well after I found out that I had no batteries that would fit inside.
I used the wii mote and a 3a 125v rated switch and here is the result:
