Simple Homemade Pocket Clip

I wanted to contribute to the Tips & Tricks in the thread of the same name as my title. But I couldn't because of this site's paranoid policy about new members -- never seen the likes of it.

Anyway, I've been using the top-clip from the thin Sharpie pen, Serial 37000. It works great on two brands of disposables which I have tried. Available in many colors -- the black one is a perfect match for a the two black e-cigs I tried. Has the advantages of making the e-cig as long as a pen, protects the mouth tip from kooties and, of course, clipping to your shirt pocket.

It's really not a "paranoid" policy. Trust me, there are quite a few spammers that would be on here if ECF did not have their policy of needing 5 posts. And, most of them would be pedaling worthless and cheaply made eCigs.

All you need are 2 more posts, and post does not mean you have to start a thread. Reply in this thread 2 more times and you can go pretty much anywhere on ECF.

Thanks for the tip!

Welcome to ECF. PaporPlus is correct about the policy, but yours is a great post for here as well. I used to use a pen clip for my e-cigs but the pen is no longer made. I rarely read the "T&T" so it is nice to have a new suggestion (especially one that provides a detail of the make and number. Thanks - I will be giving it a try.

Another thing to try for a carry case are those cheap reader eyeglasses with the tube cases.

You can find them in my area for as low as $2 and the hard tube cases are great for holding most e-cigs in a pocket or purse.

It protects them and most have a pen clip on them also for clipping on to cloth or purse pockets.

Just throw the cheap eyeglasses out or save them for when you get old like me and need them!
