Since I vape at my desk, I had an idea...

Seeing as I have a fully adjustable power supply sitting at my desk at work (I'm an electronic technician) I decided that I no longer wanted to vape using my batteries and I'm too cheap to buy a passthru kit.

So what I did was take a 510 charging adapter I had lying around, soldered some wiring, hooked up a pushbutton and plugged it up to my power supply. It's pretty much a jerry rigged diy project, but it does the job and took me a total of 10 minutes to put together.

No more batteries required!

Variable voltage, variable current, displays for both, multiple outputs and... free power.
That, sir, is the ultimate passthrough!
Now you can just slap a UPS on that sucker, put it on a handtruck and vape around town! LOL

I used to use a smaller single output power supply like some of you posted years ago. Over the years it wasn't enough, so I made my case to the bosses to get upgrade to a triple output.

One of these days i'll take the time to make a home brew vv box or regulated to whatever voltage i like best using old school nimh batteries as their plentiful at work. My power supply is useless when I walk away from my desk.

I have been using 12 to 18v with stepdown regulators and am very happy with the setup. Great in the car also at 12 to 14v.

Its vapers like you that always come up with the next best PV. If I knew anything about any of that stuff(which I havent a clue) God knows I would be fabricating some new cool ... mod.
