On my quest for high power vaping, it dawned on me, that while I wait for a DNA 30, I should be looking at something that plugs in.

Not a USB pass-through. I don't want something limited by the Vamo type circuitry. Just a basic variable voltage plug-in power supply. And I don't want to exhaust expensive batteries when most of my vaping is in my truck, or sitting at my desk or in my chair. And I don't want to be limited by the crappy power supplies for USB connections.

Would actually like two. One that runs off of 120v A/C, and one that runs for a 12v lighter socket. Variable from at least 4v-10v, and capable of at least 5A.

I have seen lots of odd projects on here, but nothing basic or made from prebuilt parts.

Do they exist? Is my "search-fu" just not sufficient tonight?

Oh and by the way... doesn't this look like (other than the obvious) the most awesome high power portable vape device ever?

Have you seen this thread yet? It's not variable-voltage, but it's plug-in, suitable for a 12V socket, and it's certainly both basic and made from prebuilt parts. (It's also incredibly cheap to build -- that's the real reason I started the project.) Maybe it'll give you some ideas.

The Low-Cost Mod

Yes I did, but it didn't look like a sub-ohm project. I'm sure it could be made to be, but I was seeking out those that already had.

And I do want adjustability. I'm picky on power settings. Depending which RBA / RDA I'm using, I want different settings.
