Pathetic ignorance here. What a fool this man is. He would lead his citizens into tobacco smoking-caused deaths but shield them from nicotine substitutes that would greatly improve their health. Way ta go, idiot.

And poor DevilFish. Remember him? He undoubtedly is smoking real cigarettes now so the "babes" don't think he's a duffus.

I Agree with u, Is money over people, But seriously, Singapore can't do anything much. They are goverment, they are making people to believe in them rather them letting the people to give good feedback. They tell people not to smoke but they still selling to people who just turn 18 years old. they should stop selling tobacco Cigarette. but there goes again, people will complain somehow here and there. It is goverment who make the call, but they choose to take 12 month for the Tobacco company to take action on their new packing. isn't that stupid.

Singapore HSA tell people that the Benefit is a benefit of doubt and it cannot be proven safe as is posted or advertise by the oversea and not in singapore, the nicotine in E-cigarette post a Danger, but issn't Tobacco have nicotine at first and hence i don't even think that the Goverment even care how many stick of tobacco the indivual smoke or how much nicotine being smoke by the indivual.

If any Singaporean out there, i urge you to give your true feedback to the Goverment and hence it will be the benefit of us to have the Vaporizer to be legal in Singapore in the future. i believe that Singaporean are true enough and if u have quit smoking using the E-Cig. by the way, E-Cig is a well know name for the traditional design or electronic cigarette like design, but still i think we should call it Vaporizer. WHO call them ENDS (Electronic Nicotine Delievery System) but what if people using the vaporizer without the Nicotine? Goverment is so ignorant that they simply ban it to save the trouble of caterise them.

I recommend that Singpore residents educate themselves on the concept of Tobacco Harm Reduction.

Tobacco Advisory Group of the Royal College of Physicians. Harm Reduction in Nicotine Addiction: Helping People Who Can't Quit. Royal College of Physicians of London. October 2007.

"This RCP report makes the case for harm reduction strategies to protect smokers. The report demonstrates that smokers smoke predominantly for nicotine, that nicotine itself is not especially hazardous, and that if nicotine could be provided in a form that is acceptable and effective as a cigarette substitute, millions of lives could be saved. The report also argues that the regulatory systems that currently govern nicotine products in most countries, including the UK, actively discourage the development, marketing and promotion of significantly safer nicotine products to smokers."
