Single coil cartos and DCT's

I posted this info in a different thread but haven't received any reply so I'm creating a new thread for my question regarding Smoktech Single coil cartos and DCT's.

These Smoktech XL single coil cartos (1.7 and 2.8's) are the only ones I use, but I've been having a hell of a time using these cartos in these tanks: 6ML Colored Tube for 510 DCT (Dual Coil Tank)

I don't know if the tank caps have issues, but I bought 8 of them, and not only are the cartos very tight to get into them but the top and bottom caps are also very tight to get onto the coloured tubes. I've tried 3 different tanks so far and they are all the same.

I bought the tanks during the last sale. Anybody else experience this?

Neat. I don't have this issue at all. Working great here. Bought at the same time.

The old DCTs were VERY loose and slippery and everyone complained so Smoktech revised to the tighter fit.

I have the new ones too and they are much better than the old ones. Tight is good!

Spac, are you using the Single coil or Dual coil cartos in the tanks? I read somewhere that the Single coil are a tighter fit.

I'm going to try lubing the heads with juice before sliding them onto the tube and see if that may help. Is there a how-to on using these, because I sure could use one. Tanks have been my nemesis for the longest time and these ones are just continuing the trend.

Single coil. Got 20 boxes of each 2.8 and 1.7 ohm carto's. I should be good for a good while....

O.k. So dusty and I were chatting via webcam last night. All my tanks are tight, and usable. His tanks are beyond tight. As in if you remove the cap from tank, you're never getting it back in. Period. Same goes for the inner o-rings. Good luck in getting the carto in at all. I ordered some back in early April, and again at the beginning of may on the same day as dusty. All my tanks work perfectly, yet his are tight to the point of unusable. Anyone out there have any issues like this? Suggestions?
