Single Coil Help

So I need to make a coil above 1.0 ohms for my taifun GT. I have 24G wire and a 1/8 bit. How many wraps do I need?

try 14 wraps and adjust from there. SHould get you close to 1.6 ohm.

With a 1/8 bit and 24ga. kanthal, 14 wraps is more likely to be around 1.1 / 1.2 ohms. Still high enough though for the OP. This is a touching wrap coil.

you will need a 30ga kanthal wire. six wraps on a 1/16th" bit give 1.4ohm or better.
