Depends on the vape I am after............

Fact is there are no Mechanical mod only coils. I suppose I could build a BIGGER coil for a high power regulated mod than a mech. Only because, with the REG mod, I can push power beyond that of the batteries alone. But types and styles of coils, can't see where that really would matter Mech vs Reg.

Because i saw this argument going on a fb post.

1 guy was saying parallel = more surface area = more flavour and vapour. Which makes sense for a mech mod when we try to bring down the resistance.

But on a regulated mod, 50w is the same on a 1ohm coil and 0.1ohm coil. So single coil will give you more wraps and more surface area. This guy was bashing the ones who were building parallel coils on a regulated mod, because he thinks it didn't make sense at all.

Lightly twisted 24g Kanthal, 7 wraps, 3mm, .18ohms. Tastes great. Dense clouds.
