So strange but had to ask. I'm single and am happy to be so, but if I ever thought about going out with someone i would have wanted them to be a smoker cus I 'was'. So there are a lot of single people out there that are non-smokers....just thought i would throw this out there and see what you guys and gals thoughts are on this:D

I have about always dated smokers for the most part, you know the old saying if they smoke they poke lol. But my last GF didn't smoke and she was on my case 24/7 about quitting, wish I would have found PV's back then. After a few weeks of PV use and not smoking I knew what she was talking about when she complained about kissing a smoker.

I do try to stay away from smokers now, too much temptation.

I am married to a smoker who can't seem to quit. The smoke dosn't tempt me..it makes me a bit ill!
If I were dating (God forbid!) I would want to date a non smoker or ideally a vaper!
I figure I haven't worked so hard to be smoke free to have to start over. At least hubby tries to smoke away from me and really tries to not smoke in my car. That's where he tries to vape or me.

Like MaryKay I'm married to a smoker. I have tried all that I know to get him to switch but at the same time to not be a nag about it. He does try to smoke in another room just because the smell and smoke actually make me cough and choke now. His brother is going to be staying for a few weeks and he smokes too. I think I'm going to have to ask him to either go upstairs (where I NEVER go) or go outside. I just cant stand multiple smokers around me anymore. Who knows, maybe I can convert him while he's here.

well, the last cig i tried tasted like drek, so i think i kinda understand the whole kissing an ashtray bit, times are lean, but not that lean... unless she was one of those 'wouldn't kick her out of bed for eating crrackers' types. Of cource, I'll have to try and use my pv as a conversation starter on the next hottie i see...

I don't know if I could date a smoker again. I started vaping before end of my last relationship. He smoked and it made it tough. I ended up bumming a smoke off him whenever we were out drinking or when I was stresed. It tasted horrible, but it was kinda felt natural. It was more the old habit than it was needing the nicotine. When still adjusting to vaping, it was tough.

Now, I know I wouldn't slip and smoke.. but the first few months it was tougher and dating a smoker made it rougher. I still don't know if I could date a smoker though.

I dated a non smoker once... refused to ever consider it again.

My husband who was doing so well vaping since Dec has recently taking up smoking again and I am having a hard time wanting to kiss him at all. He thinks he is being sly sneaking out while doing laundry (hmm perhaps that he is so interested in laundry when he never has been in the past was a clue too) but he just reeks when he comes back inside.

If this is what his job is doing to him I really wish he would find another. I thought I had a good nose before I quit smoking but these days it feels like I have the nose of a bloodhound.

At this stage I would have to say I no, if I were single I would not date a smoker unless it was one of those smoke while drinking only people. I still hang out with smokers but until they come up with a method of dulling the sense of smell I just can't handle being very close to them.
