I swear i'm not trying to rehash the "I got thrush from vaping" thread

I started about 3-4 weeks ago with WC cigalikes, and I just got a spinner and some mt baker juice which i've been playing with at home.
About 2+ weeks ago I started having headaches, but being prone to hormone related migraines just started popping OTC meds as per usual. finally I called Dr mom (not dr, but actually works in pharm now but i'm oldest of 6 kids. dr mom knows everything. LOL) and told her my left side of my neck was all stiff and knotted and my left upper jaw/teeth were aching and painful and around my eye socket. Felt like I was punched in apple of my cheek.
none of my usual go-away-migraine tricks were working.
She said take some allergy meds (allegra) because it sounded like sinus stuff, and also to start using saline nose spray.

As a side note, I've never EVER had allergy problems but I live in DFW and we've been having a REALLY bad, nuclear level allergen situation going on. It seems people who never had problems move to texas and all the sudden develop allergies, but I have lived here for 13 years now (ugh)

So I started taking allegra and headache has let up a little, but still painful. Last night I heated a rice sock and laid with my left cheek/eye area and I could feel something draining...which is weird because I don't feel congested at all, nor do my sinuses feel "full" like when i've had colds etc.

this morning I woke up and left side is feeling better and its moved to the right and same symptoms!

I'm just curious because the timeline also parallels starting ecigs and I wondered if anyone had a similar reaction to vaping, or perhaps the type of juice i've been using?

I'm tempted to smoke a pack and see if the headache abates, but I really don't want to :(

I'd appreciate anything you can contribute!

I really hope you get something figured out and can stay the course. But seriously, if you think it may be ecig related, stop using it and see a doctor. Any type of pain in your neck and sinus area...it's just worth getting checked out. Even if you have to smoke a few cigs...no biggie. Just think how many you've already avoided. Best of luck

I don't think so....I'm hoping its one of those happy little things....but I wanted to explore the issue incase someone else has had something happen similar. I'm a nerd for a living, my first instinct is to "revert all changes made back to when system worked perfectly" and try again with only single changes. Unfortunately I cannot roll back the weather. LOL.

I can't really think of any problems I had during the transition. But I've read of many..shortness of breath, bad skin...all the way to having really bad gas lol. How many of those were related to ecigs? I have no clue. Many may have been related to not smoking anymore. But I'm about as far from being a doc that a guy can get lol.

i have regular occurring headaches as a direct result of vaping.
not sure why anyone hasn't yet concurred with this.
i believe it to be the nicotine strength. this is simply how i know its the vaping: i vape at 12mg, i started at 36ish and have lowered my nic levels every couple months for the almost a year. i still have many bottles of 18-24mg, and a few times a weeks i will but them out and drip them on a 510 or 306 atty. shortly after a little vape session the headache ensues. water, asprin, and a break from vape will make it subside. i can toke on 12mg all day without a headache, but as soon as i introduce something stronger here comes the pain. the headache is always in the same spot, middle of my forehead above my ears, and it is quite a beast. i am consistently dehydrated which doesnt help.
i would recommend lowering your levels and see if the headaches subside.
as for the allergy thing, perhaps you have a spring-time cold, as i am currently experiencing. my symptoms are nearly parallel yours :)

I too found that to much nic can bring on a terrible head ache 8-o
I Vap 0 Nic but when Hubby @ 18 Nic or son @ 12 Nic want to try there new mixture. I had a very stressful day i tried adding some of Sons 12 Nic to my 0 @ Nic @ 50/50 and i get same type of pain. :(
So i mixed it @ 20/70 (Nic 12 and 0 Nic) and get just enough Nic, to keep me from picking up a cig. Found it keep the bad head aches away mind you i don't do this daily and vape less then a ml :)

I have same problem when i am now around smokers the stickies bring on a terrible head ache as well don't know if other vapers have this problem as well
