It's easy. Took me ten extra seconds and cost a penny. The only difference is when filling insert a tight fitting qtip into the air tube from the drip tip side to just below the opening. Fill to the middle of the threads then put the base on as usual. Pull out the qtip and viola. It only took about three draws to be back to normal. Got this yesterday and really liking it.

Im trying that now! Sounds like a minute amount of juice wasted.. but worth it Im sure! This seems to be my only gripe with these tanks...but its a small compromise to make for such an awesome vape experience!

I know I'm a little slow, but I'm not quite understanding how you're doing this.

Push the qtip from the drip tip side through the air tube so it is just below the opening, turn upside down. You will now be looking at the upside down tank with the q-tip blocking the airflow tube. Proceed to fill all the way up to where the threads begin (where you screw the base onto). Now take the base and push the stem of the atomizer head onto the q-tip and push the q-tip back through as you are screwing on the base. That q-tip is used to block the airflow tube, and absorbs the liquid that goes over the tube. Allowing you to fill it up.

This is the only way I can explain, but it works.

I just ordered a mega today. Looking forward to it. And thanks for this thread!!
A thought I had though about this procedure. I would think turning the airflow control to "off", 0 airflow, when putting the bottom back on might help keep juice from getting into the clearo head tube.
Just like plugging one end of a straw and putting the other into water. It displaces the water rather than fills the straw.

But again, I don't have mine yet, just a theory.

Thanks again for this tip. One of my biggest concerns was the capacity of the tank.

I haven't had a problem filling mine with the air hole open. But that's a good idea to close the air hole when filling.

Thank you! I got my mega yesterday and was a bit bummed about that. I modified your technique. Instead of using a q tip, i just used my finger to make a good seal at the bottom of the drip tip. I filed it up fast and when i was done i had the same result. full tank, a few gurgle hits then perfection! thanks again!

Edit: I'm also using a juice that is 95% VG and 5% distilled water so the thickness probably helped in making air pressure enough to keep the tube clear.
