Anyone know when these tanks are supposed to be available? I just saw that PBusardo made then his top choice ; over the nautilus.
And I'm getting antsy to get a tank that is all stainless.

I just saw Phil's preview on these tanks where he prefers them to the Nautilus, and he's doing a full review soon. Personally, I like the look and design of this set of tanks much more than the Nautilus, and if you opt for the Pyrex tank it should protect the glass more. A lot of what it comes down to is user preference. It's nice to have an alternative option to the Aspire. From the videos I've seen, it should look awesome on any mod. Finally a decent tank for the road!

I'm looking forward to trying this new tank. I think both the old Aerotank and the Nautilus are excellent tanks and if the new aerotank out performs the old one that just might set a new standard for clearos. Will have to wait and see how it performs. I do wish Kanger would have addressed the AFC mechanism though and made it a bit more like the Aspire with AFC that doesn't move around so easily... that might be a pain in the rear, but it might also be just a simple pinch with a pair of pliers adds a bit of tension to eliminate the problem. I also hope the consistency of the coils gets better. This has been a problem for both Kanger and Aspire with hand wrapped coils (why can't they make a machine to wrap their coils. Ohh... that's right, someone has to invent one first so they can clone it :D). Being that they are using res/nores wire, that makes it a bit more difficult for most to recoil so the factory coils need to be more consistent than previous heads so there is no need to make my own coils. Although with adding what appears to be a silicon grommet instead of the rubber grommet the nores part of the coil might not be needed anyway. The Nautilus has never needed nores wire and I have never burned a grommet on that tank... even with my 0.57ohm build. Will have to wait and see how that works out. But it looks like the old coils can still be used, so that is always an option for those who already build Aerotank coils. If that's turns out to be true that is a huge bonus for those who like to custom build coils to their own specs.

All in all, I'm excited to try out these new tanks. Especially the mini on my Ba Gua 14500. The mini should be brilliant for that.

After watching P's review I am really anxious to try the Mega. Looks like a very well built and solid topper. And the added stainless steel chamber makes it good for out and about. I hope the heads are a reasonable price. Have no interest in the Mini. I just don't like clearos with anything less than 2.5ml capacity.

If you watch Phils latest video on his site they have changed the looks a little I think for the better, plus the both come with both tanks. He barely got the first video out and they changed the looks so you have to watch both. It is purely a change in the looks and they added the SS tank to the mini too. I can't wait I think they are both going to be awesome.

I also prefer the look of the original protoype, but I'll still buy one, considering this'll be the only 22mm clearo (as far as I know). When using the glass tank, the only cosmetic difference is the pips on the airflow ring, which I can live with. What I don't like about Kangers is the wasted tank space (still an issue with these models).

I like the look of the mega tank. A couple of things that concern me are that the coil heads (from what I have seen on youtube vids) are still arranged in parallel on top of each other and not at 90 degrees. I would think this would make a difference, but I'm not sure. It will appeal to me if the coil heads are a lot cheaper than the Nautilus heads.

I am also concerned that Kanger is just slopping out product to compete with Aspire. I thought the Aero tank was supposed to compete with the Aspire Nautilus? Will Kanger come out with the Aero Tank Mega V2 next month? Kind of off putting.

I really liked the look of the protos. Very clean if seriously Kayfunny... not sure about that new look.

But, hey if they work really well.. screw the looks.

And hopefully the heads won't be Eight Gazillion $$

Is it just me or do the Nautilus heads cost like blood?

;)

The cheapest I have found is Myfreedomsmokes.com $11.95 for 5.

I have decided to just skip buying those new Kangers and Heads and get a real Kayfun Lite. Never have to buy a head again but have to get kanthal wire $5 for 50 feet and cotton balls $5 at the most for a bag.

Where did you get 50' for $5? I just got 10' of silica and 25' of kanthal and paid $5. Still not a bad deal but I like yours better.

Tap'd from my LG G2

Well the more I look the more I think I am going to wait for the Russian 91% to come in. Vape Rev doesn't ship by USPS so its about $13 to ship it and the Russian comes with more goodies.
The Russian 91% and Kayfun Lite Plus are awesome, aren't they! I only use these Kangers for use out of the house because the RBA's and RTA's tend to leak in my pocket, where these don't. For me, they're in a different class. I wish they'd come out with a brass patina color for the Russian's and the Kayfun's as an option for other mods...:vapor:
