Size comparison of Mega V2 and Slider PCC

I haven't seen much talk here on ECF about the Mega V2 PCC from Smokeless Image so here's a quick size comparison of the Mega V2 and Slider PCC before I send the Slider back to Smokeless Image. I haven't yet got to use the Mega V2 yet for charging on the go since I just got it, but i'll chime in on that if I remember.

So far I like it a lot better as the battery indicator is more in-depth on charge, as far as I know and more specific using a 5 bar charge indicator, blue light for the PCC charge and red light for the battery charge.

Overall Base and Width is the same, height is a bit thicker to accommodate the 2200mAh battery as opposed to the 1000mAh in the Slider PCC.

Lastly, for those of you with diamond end caps on your batteries, this PCC will fit a fully assembled KR808D-X (65mm and below) with the diamond end cap unlike the Slider PCCs

I have a hard time getting the ecigarette out of the Mega PCC with a carto on it, without a diamond tip. I think it's because I have fat fingers, though. YMMV.

Yeah... I'm going to take a small tool file and trim the edges down a bit; with the diamond tip, it fits exact. Like half a mm of clearance.

You could always take a piece of the ribbon that is in their boxes, your PCC box should have one, and then take a crazy glue and make it so you can pull up on the half inch ribbon to pop the PV out... I might do that instead of trimming.

I used mine for the first time today & love it. I only charged 1 batt & the charge bar only went down 1 notch.. The one I had from that other company would only do 2 batteries & the second was not quite up to snuff.

Clarification: it only fits a fully assembled 65mm (short) battery, not 78mm (standard). The 78mm fits without a carto.

What I do is grab the pcc and lay my thumb over the 3 cartos/charging batt, then turn it over and shake the ecig out

Thanks. That's what I was doing until I put the diamond tips on. Now I'm just keeping the cartos and battery separate.

I just took a Dremel to it - filed down the right side lip between the two slots to make it just like the slider is. Now I can slip my finger along the edge to lift it out (like the slider) instead of trying to pry up the tip.

There's already a notch in the same place where the slider lip ended. I really think they were supposed to end it there too but forgot or something. Maybe V3 will include that improvement, along with making it a quarter of an inch longer to accommodate a 78mm with carto assembled.
