between here and there
Hello,
I have experienced this a few times. Nothing to worry about. Just make sure there isn't any ejuice in the battery well and on the firing pin. I tend to wipe mine out of habit when I refill whether or not it needs it. Black stuff like sute can build up and if you keep the threads and head clean the better the connection between the carto/clear/ and battery. And the battery likes it too.

:)

I *think* all of mine do that; but they are all BCCs (Bottom Coil Clearomisers).
I just checked my ego-c and that also makes a sound.

Most of them you have to hold the mouthpiece to your ear to hear it.

It may be that the particular one you hear happens to be a louder one; my protank for example tends to be clearly audible, but my other ones I would only hear them if I put it to my ear.

The sound would be from the liquid in contact with the hot coil of wire on the wick.

I am currently using an eGo twist with a clearomizer. One of the clearomizers I use sometimes makes a sizzling sort of popping noise when I inhale. Is this dangerous? I actually sort of enjoy the sound, but as none of the other clearomizers do this, I just want to make sure it is safe to use.

You mention an ego-twist; I think most clearos are designed to be used to 3.7 volts; my ego-twist goes up to 4.8 volts.

I'd be careful about putting too much voltage on a clearo; I'd be very wary of some of the materials that are close to the hold coil, specifically the material of the wick itself - most of my wicks go black, which means to me that they burn - and the soft semitransparent plastic/silicone rings on atomisers
