Anyone out there own the same mod? Im sure this is happening because the sping is heating up but the odd thing is the sping looks completely fine. It worked great for probably two weeks then hot button and volt drop. Its a good spring too ....

So i guess my question is does anyone else have this mod, have you encountered this ? Know of any solutions?

Sounds like you have a short.

1. What batteries are you using (brand, mah, amp limit)
2. What is the ohm of the coil you are firing

Typically when you go from having no issues to a hot button, it means something needs cleaned.

Threads especially get dirty, and I think Noalax can help once clean.

Ive checked i cant find any shorts but im not sure completely. Im using Sony vtc5 & 4's, and i dont trust my ohm meter but im running dual 26 gauge parrallels at 6 wraps at slightly over 2mm diameter. .21 is what it reads but my meter likes to jump sometimes.

ill try cleaning it, sometimes the basic solutions could be the best... it would make sense as to why it just went all wonky.

If you cant trust yor meter you cant vape the atty. Jumping readings on the meter could be an indecator of intermitent short or loose conections.

It's not that bad it just has a sweet spot. I've got a new one on the way in the mail but i've been using my DNA to test my coils individually.
