I have been using LiteCigs 510 SLB cartos for months now and I have always been very pleased with them. Just over the last few boxes I noticed something that was not happening on any of my prior boxes. It seems after a few hours of use, the "stuffing" seems to be shrinking and pulling away from the heating element, making it look as if it is condensing towards the outside walls of the carto. Has anyone else come across this issue as of late?

I noticed that too, I don't know if it's shrinkage or the fibers are sticking together, sort of flattening to give a shrinkage appearance. I did find when it starts to do that, I put less in but more frequently. Maybe somebodyelse will chime in. I'm not a tech with this, I only saw what you are talking about. I'm using mine on the EGO USB batteries.

For me it does not matter which unit I use, after about an hour the wadding tightens up around the outside wall leaving a large whole to the heating element. This has only been happening to me for about a month now, otherwise for 4 months I never had an issue. Striking me as odd and can not figure out why unless the material has changed in the SLB carto's.

Funny y'all mentioning this....cause mine are doing the exact opposite. The filler seems to be shrinking towards the center. It leaves quite a bit of space around the interior walls. I figured it was normal.

Mine do that too. Not sure that it makes any difference though, at least I don't notice any.
